Cats already on 32 points, so a win would give them 36

Clearly made contact and clearly stunned him. Watch the replay and focus on the back of Olivers head and his hair at the time of the elbow. His entire head jolts

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
JTR replied to praha's topic in Melbourne Demons
Correct me if I'm wrong, but... First win vs Eagles in 8 years First time that we've won 4 in a row in 11 years First win in Perth in 13 years First win vs Eagles in Perth in 15 years -
Did I hear right on 360 when Lewis said he was only 69kg when he first came to the club? And is now up to low 80's? Re hitting targets on the run, both he and ANB (? pretty sure it was ANB) were off to the side at one point during last Saturdays training doing a drill that looks to specifically address this.

One trick pony. Immediately turned it over after his first mark and almost did it again with the next. No
-
He is. Nowhere near as impressive as the one he had but it appears to be on the way.

I did notice on one occasion when he was doing some ruck work with Pedersen (before later switching with TMac) that after coming down from one of his leaps he lifted the bad ankle gingerly. Might still be a bit uncomfortable.

Gawn is into everything. Doing sprinting drills now

Gawn is here. Got a little clap from the team as he took off his jumper and joined squad for warm up laps. Watts here. No Spencer/Hogan

I wouldn't have thought a helmet would make any difference to the deceleration on the brain inside the skull. In much the same way as someone driving a car headon into a brick wall at 60km/h, the whiplash effect of going from 60km/h to 0km/h is not going to be any different no matter how many extra layers of protection the car has externally.

Last season there was an open training session with BBQ, mascots... etc on the Saturday before QB. Pretty sure it was same year before too. Dont remember actual time of last years session but I have a couple of pics with timestamps of around 11:00am, so it was around then-ish

I cringe whenever we start kicking in backwards, especially when one of those receiving the kick is OMac or TMac as the disposal after that can also be a problem....

I am actually looking forward to the next 8-12 weeks, or whatever it turns out to be. We have to develop another ruck that can hold his own at AFL level and with Gawn dominating it was always going to be hard for someone else to break into the side and have a good crack at it. Now big Jake has his chance, and has a nice block of games to make his mark. Go Spencil!

Yep I use it and it's great. Super easy to use. Per my earlier post, I use that so that I can watch Foxtel GO from overseas

Yeah, dunno. My phone is a Samsung (Android). Havent had any issues

Do you have Foxtel GO? It works from overseas if you sit yourself behind a VPN connected to an Australian server.

Sounds good. If I miss the live show, will there be a recording made available that can be listened to later?

Until I saw the stat, I didn't realise we have lost 9 of the past 10 vs the Blues.... -
I have joined - JURRAHHHH!!!!

I think they are just advertising something they already do. In the back half of every season for several years now, I have received an email saying something along the lines of "because you are a loyal member who has attended xxxx number of games this year, please click on xxxx and do xxxx to get a free upgrade to a better seat at our next match"

..... or the other North/Geelong options I mentioned a few posts back. Other clubs are starting to think a bit outside the square to get new members on board. We need to too.

Geelong are playing 2 games at Etihad (North & us) and another 2 at the G (Pies & Hawks). The remaining 7 games are all at Skilled. Even if their members dont travel up the highway, thats still 7 games for $99, which is less than half the usual $215 for a regular 11 match home game membership. As for North, don't they get compensation games like we do for the two NT fixtures? Even if not, they are only playing 3 of their home games in tassie, so thats still 8 games for $99
