GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Port Adelaide
Sorry if already covered, but can someone explain that 50m to Langdon for me? I get the free for holding, but why the 50?

Tassie…. Devils?
Given the date this was posted, I had just assumed this was just another of 'those' stories...

GAMEDAY: Rd 03 vs Essendon
My 'strongly negative attitudes' towards teams is often about their supporters and what they do/say/think, rather than the club itself. Although in the case of Essendon, there is more than enough reason to hate the club. Same with Geelong.

I hope you mean non-members wanting to purchase a ticket on the day and not walk up GA members with their barcode?- Help with streaming FTA TV channels
I have yep, but in the Samsung app store thing on my TV, all of the FTA apps are older versions and there doesn't seem to be (?) any way to update them. 7plus for example has live TV, but 9Now and 10play don't - they just have catch up stuff. I know when looking at current versions of the same apps on my mobile that they all have live TV. 2017 ☹️ I've had a couple of recommendations over the weekend for one of these things so I'm gonna try it out and see how it goes. https://store.google.com/au/product/chromecast_google_tv?hl=en-GB It basically puts and Android TV/Google TV interface over the top of what I have. That'll give me access to all apps on the Google Play store, which should mean I can get the most recent versions of all apps I need for FTA and they'll stay updated. If not, then as worst case scenario I could run the apps or Freeview from my mobile, and then cast to this dongle thing to get on on my TV. As usual I'm a few years behind the curve with technology so don't mind me if I'm explaining something that is common knowledge!- Help with streaming FTA TV channels
I'm after some advice/suggestions from any TV gurus that might frequent this place. My house is within a deep gully, that is a bit of a reception black hole. To get FTA TV via an antenna I would need to fork out a lot of $ to get a 40+ foot pole on my roof and "maybe" get a signal. So until now I've been relying on my Foxtel cable service to get the FTA channels - 7, 9, 10, SBS, ABC, and their various offshoots. It's one of the main reasons I have kept the Foxtel connected. As Foxtel will be moving off the off the cable next year, I've been told I'll be migrated to a streaming only IQ5, which wont allow me to get any of the live FTA channels without an antenna. So, what are my 'no antena' options for FTA TV? 'Freeview' looks to be the sort of thing I am after but my TV (Samsung Q7) doesn't seem to have it. Is there a set top box or other device that I can plug into the TV, hook up to my wifi and stream all the live FTA channels? Any recommendations would be much appreciated.- 2022 Tickets Thread
Perfect! I missed that. Thanks LH 😀- 2022 Tickets Thread
Yes, it could be. Sorry if my post added to any further confusion.- 2022 Tickets Thread
How to get the tickets (if that is what you mean) have been covered in last few posts - I'm GA also so would be in the same boat as you. What happens when at the ground I'm not clear on. Edit - I am now - thanks LH- 2022 Tickets Thread
It does - thanks for that 👍 I'll sit tight then and not contribute to their phone line issues any longer. But yes, if they can add a "we are extremely busy - please wait" or "level 2 reserved seating is sold out" to their waiting on hold messaging, then maybe something saying "barcodes are not available yet" would have helped reduce their call load today.- 2022 Tickets Thread
Whilst waiting on hold they said all level 2 reserved seating had been sold out.- 2022 Tickets Thread
Re the new mobile membership instructions for ticketing, I'm also stuck at the "where is my barcode?" stage. I followed all instructions here: https://membership.melbournefc.com.au/member-hub/mobile-ticketing but cannot get past point #6 as there is no 'View barcode' link. I am definitely logged in as I can see my name and member number up the top. I can also see all the games that are applicable to my membership (Thursday night, and home game GA for the season) Does anyone else have this problem? 🙁 I've tried calling the club twice, but unfortunately got nowhere as each time I sat on hold for 45+ mins, getting the "we are busy but will get to you shortly" message, later followed by "sorry, we have no one available to take you call - please send us an email.... CLICK" Edit - by barcode, I mean the QR code that we need to scan when entering the ground. Not the barcode number which I know about, but wont help me with entry for the ground. I dont have the 'View Barcode' link circled in screenshot, only 'Ticket details' which is just game time, ticket type, my member number... etc- AFL Commentary teams - How good is Daisy Pearce
I think Daisy is amazing, but know a couple of people that can't stand her in commentary. When I press them as to why, all it really boils down to is that they don't like hearing a female voice commentating a male sport. It doesn't matter to them what she says or how good she is as they cant get past the voice. 🙄- Premiership Cup Tour
Missed this post sorry. Nah I'm not going - I was just trying to help out Dingo. MFC member number - if that is the issue - would be the one that appears under your name on back of membership card. Not the barcode number that we've been using in recent times for tickets.- Premiership Cup Tour
