NO Victorian team draws a big crowd vs interstate sides. So far this season there have only been two such games with a higher crowd than we had on Saturday night. Filth vs Adelaide in R2 (37,000) Carlton vs Port in R5 (33,000)

(in a non trade-week sense when everyone is worth 2 first rounders) Amon - couple of average moments but his kicking absolutely cut the dogs to shreds last night Thought Amon broke the game open with some beautiful ball movement Amon has his laser boot back. Amon very good with some real pin point passes that cut the Dogs up My biggest and only negative apart from goal kicking. Does Amon look and playing disinterested?

He reminds me a bit of Sam Frost. All the athleticism in the world and does lots of nice things, but just cant be... trusted (?) to be clean and make the right decision at all times. We have a solid, reliable and smart back half now, so errors tend to stand out more than they may have in the past when I'm sure all of us could identify one or two players that made you cringe every time they got the ball.

Biggest difference for me on the weekend, was we were missing two of our forward half terriers in ANB and Pickett. Without them there to harass, apply pressure, slow them down and force mistakes, the Hawks seemed to come out of their back half a lot easier. Of course that is going to make life a more difficult for May who either didn't have time to get into best position or got sucked up the ground to try and help cut them off.

I could probably give you a reason for why I hate all the opposition teams 😆 If you sit amongst their fans or know a few annoying opposition supporters though, that'll probably help shape your opinion as much as anything.

I haven't been keeping up with the news, or this thread, but was there any verdict yet on where they were going to build the club HQ? Last I recall there was some talk about it being on/around carpark E on the city side of AAMI.... 🤢🤮
