Patrick Cripps FREE to play
I'd be interested to know how he still has a two week suspension after losing the first appeal. Isn't there supposed to be some sort of incentive/disincentive built in? Accept your punishment and get what you get. Challenge and its an extra week? If not, and if it's just a free hit, why wouldn't everyone challenge every suspension?

2022 Tickets Thread
Thanks Gonzo. I'll give that a try next time. Glad to hear I can still get a spot on Friday. Quite like sitting up there anyway!

2022 Tickets Thread
Can I ask... when you guys say "general admission is sold out", does that just mean for non-members who are trying to buy a ticket to the game? Or would it also apply to those with general admission membership, like me? Given we have to wait till 7.50pm tonight before we can even get the mobile membership ticket, it'd be a bit annoying if regular punters who can already buy them online have taken all the seats.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Thats great! I'm seeing my family for the first time in about that long too, also in September. I leave just after the first final, so I'm praying to the footy gods that we either get a home game or are playing another VIC side.

The Run Home
Better still if in that scenario, Brisbane beat the Filth in the Qualifying final: QF1: *GEELONG* v Fremantle QF2: *BRISBANE LIONS* v Collingwood EF1: *SYDNEY* v Western Bulldogs EF2: Carlton v *MELBOURNE* SF1: *FREMANTLE* v Sydney SF2: Collingwood v *MELBOURNE* PF1: Geelong v *MELBOURNE* PF2: *BRISBANE LIONS* v Fremantle GF: *MELBOURNE* v Brisbane Lions All our games would be at the G 👍

The Run Home
I was just about to post the same thing. Here is quick worst case scenario if we lose every game and all other results go as you'd expect... W L D 1. Geelong 18 4 0 137.8% 2. Caro Verbosis Interruptus
When Eddie gets on his soapbox about something no one else can get a word in, especially if anyone has the gall to disagree with him. Not a fan of Caro, but glad she at least tried to pull him up. He makes the Wednesday Classified is near unwatchable now.

GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Sliders start sliding at ~2pm Not sure about TV, but coverage starts at 2pm, so probably?
-
Low Attendance
It's a replacement game for the NT match later in the season, so it wont cost you anything if you have a home game membership.

Low Attendance
Sorry yep, I missed that one as I was scanning through all the seasons crowd totals. That's the only game this season between a VIC side and an interstate side with more than 40,000. Here's all of them... R10 @ Marvel: Carlton v Sydney - 44,769 R2 @ MCG: Collingwood v Adelaide - 36,843 R5 @ MCG: Carlton v Port Adelaide - 33,433 R12 @ MCG: Melbourne v Sydney - 32,753 R2 @ Marvel: Essendon v Brisbane - 30,631 R11 @ MCG: Melbourne v Fremantle - 29,812 R7 @ MCG: Collingwood v Gold Coast - 28,916 R2 @ MCG: Richmond v GWS - 28,813 R4 @ Marvel: Collingwood v West Coast - 25,897 R8 @ Marvel: Carlton v Adelaide - 25,376 R4 @ Marvel: Essendon v Adelaide - 24,906 R3 @ Marvel: Bulldogs v Sydney - 24,327 R5 @ Marvel: Essendon v Fremantle - 23,935 R5 @ MCG: Melbourne v GWS - 20,791 R4 @ GMHBA: Geelong v Brisbane - 20,505 R7 @ GMHBA: Geelong v Fremantle - 20,136 R11 @ GMHBA: Geelong v Adelaide - 19,051 R5 @ Marvel: St Kilda v Gold Coast - 18,724 R10 @ GMHBA: Geelong v Port Adelaide - 18,721 R2 @ Marvel: North v West Coast - 14,204 R6 @ Mars: Bulldogs v Adelaide -10,412 R10 @ Mars: Bulldogs v Gold Coast - 6,040 Personally, for a non "Big 4" (🙄) club , I don't think our crowds vs Sydney & Freo were too bad. GWS was ordinary, but they have zero fans, so that'd cut the crowd size by probably 5,000.
-
Low Attendance
NO Victorian team draws a big crowd vs interstate sides. So far this season there have only been two such games with a higher crowd than we had on Saturday night. Filth vs Adelaide in R2 (37,000) Carlton vs Port in R5 (33,000)

The Importance of keeping humble as supporters
If anything, it if the supporters of other clubs that lead to me "hating" the club they follow.

Dr.D will be here to share some of his wisdom soon.

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
How is Rosman progressing? For memory we recruited him with a mind to have him on the wing?
-
CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Have they now become our bogey side... for injuries? Last season it was Tomlinson. Hopefully if Langdon is out for a few we can find another silver lining, like with did with Petty.

Chandler Tackle
This. Once again, a MRO decision is based on the outcome, rather than the action.

NON-MFC: Round 9, 2022
I've only tuned in for thr last quarter. Is there a reason the Filth supporters are booing Khamis every time he goes near it, or are they just trying to put a cherry on top of racism week?
-
NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
HTB free payed against Witts... "That's smart by Kennedy. Jumped on top of Witts and dragged it back in" 🤔 If everyone - including the presumably the umpire - can see that the tackler dragged it back in, why does this call continuity go against the guy under the pack who has been tackled?
-
Karl Amon
This was from Ports game review thread last night. Obviously a small sample size, but I always find what opposition supporters say about their own players to be reasonably insightful. (in a non trade-week sense when everyone is worth 2 first rounders) Amon - couple of average moments but his kicking absolutely cut the dogs to shreds last night Thought Amon broke the game open with some beautiful ball movement Amon has his laser boot back. Amon very good with some real pin point passes that cut the Dogs up My biggest and only negative apart from goal kicking. Does Amon look and playing disinterested?

Petracca Back at It
And..? You might be all over Tik Tok and across every post here ever, but I'm sure some havent seen it. I hadn't. Also, THAT particular video was posted a day ago and references Norm Smith medalist, so assumed it was new.
