  1. AW reporting Melbourne prepared to put, Watts, Toumpas, Grimes and Trengove on table. They want 5 picks inside Top 20. Not sure how they would know this.
  2. So is this a possibility.. although on assumption that Frawley leaves and MFC get pick 3 and finish 17th so pick 2 as well. Saints Take best available - Petracca with Pick 1 Melbourne Take Brayshaw with Pick 2 Melbourne trade Pick 3 to Western Bulldogs for there first pick and a player ( Hrovat , Hunter, Higgins, - just to name a couple) / or a Sydney and Tom Mitchell Dogs / swans move up order to pick 3 and get the Key fwd they need in McCartin / or best player Melbourne use Dogs / swans first pick to select next best kid? Anyone?
  3. Cameron Ling is out of race.. It gets more interesting now.
  4. not sure where i ever wrote Sexton for Pick 2.
  5. Alex Sexton is the one i would target at Gold Coast Suns.
  6. I reckon when Roos says pick 2 is on the table, he really means pick 3 which we will get for Frawley, but he cant say that. Keep pick 2 - Draft Petracca (Saints will take the big boy) Trade pick 3 (Frawley compo) for ready made player and later first round pick. e.g. pick 3 & 20 for Pick 8 and Player x.
  7. Roosy is fine, mass hysteria over this. He minimised damage in defence, a pre season to combine that defence mentality with an attacking flair. This would be hurting him, but a more competitive man you will not meet. He will correct this.
  8. this is what's really hard ta the moment. My 8 year old daughter is struggling to stay interested in the footy while the demons are so bad, that's ok, I'm a bit the same, but the one thing she loves is Jack Watts', if he went, I think she would lose all interest in footy. Its not a reason to keep him, but it does hit home that Footy can still be emotional, and personal. I Love Jack, i know he is great around the club. I loved that he signed on when he had every right to leave after his treatment. I'm really passionate about this, i want Jack to stay and i want him to contribute to our rise. I know most fans are fed up with him and his non competitiveness. I love when he has the ball in his hands, more than not he sets us up, does not waste it. Needs to be stronger, needs to be more urgent. Im in the minority i know. But im loyal, i love him, he is a great bloke and i want him to be a demon for life and a good one at that.

  10. There is some upside in all this gloom and doom.. its not much, but there is some. Gawn, Hogam ect.. The irony of the trade Watts scenario is that the one bit of play that resembled a half decent side is when Watts took the corridor option, nailed a pass and then we were away. I know he is frustrating, but he must play of half back. I wa sso angry yesterday i could cry, still angry today, but im not going to lose any more sleep about it.
  11. Well im going to do it again and whether you like it or not, Watts has the same impact inside the 4 walls as Jnr had, popular, keeps the players morale up, and is as loved and well respected member of the team as anyone. FACT.
  12. Club has to be careful not to just chase a GWS player because he is a GWS player. I reckon GWS now know who they want on their list and who is surplus to their needs. And they are not getting rid of any regulars. Will find that a few fringe players are up for trade, which I would stay clear of for the fact that they have not developed. Picks 3 4 and 20 odd will be great leverage. Also the calls to trade Wattsy are just laughable and obvious. What the people on the outside don't realise is that he might be the most popular team member on the list. Trade him and rip the heart out of the list again.. anyone remember James McDonald.
  13. Think he hit a target at training and then fainted and then hit his head.
  14. Stef Martin has had a good month.. but he also had a good month with us here and there. Lets see if he can sustain it. And if he does, then good on him. I have no ill feeling. One I am hearing that might be on the radar as a late pick up is Tim Golds at GWS. Athletic type with good outside run.
  15. Mate who is mates with Crossy says he was going to play after break and I believe him, so will be nice to get him back.
  16. Top bloke, who was probs finished when we signed him. But, he kicked a few goals when a lot of other players couldn't last year. Won a flag, can retire very happy. Well done.
  17. wouldn't you love to finish the year beating Nth and seriously disrupting September for them!
  18. Demons take on Nth on Saturday Night at Etihad.
  19. would have loved him with the ball on the outer half back flank with a couple of minutes to go.. wouldnt have kicked it out on the full.
  20. The Malceski talk is interesting. No doubt that the Swans will lose a player or 2, ROK will finish and potentially Adam Goodes which will free up some cash, so it may not be a big name that leaves, BUT Malceski would be great at MFC, great user and line breaker. True attacking defensive player. Interesting times ahead.
  21. The Cameron whispers getting louder, few people suggesting Demons very interested. Cant say if offer been made or how far its down the track though.
  22. Ports weakness in Talls down back. Richmond did it beautifully on Sunday and exploited it. 17 marks to 5 inside 50. moved it quick, put them under pressure. Blease Frawley Watts Kent Dawes Pederson ins: Blease Out: Bail.
  23. Same panel that laughed when BT called Harry Taylor a big P**fter. Yeah.. I will wait and see I reckon.
  24. Still think Frawley will end up at Fremantle.
