Against the grain on this site I know, but I'm rapt for a top 10 finish for Wattsy, a great team man, a player that has never.. NEVER settled in one position form his debut, a player that uses the ball well. Look at a few of the games that we won, Richmond, Carlton and Adelaide, and some of the games we should have won, Port Adelaide, St Kilda, 2nd dogs game.. he was important. Such a consistent year. Im first to agree he has some deficiencies that he needs to address very quickly, but I think he has had a really solid year.

Can believe the frustration, its warrented and im sick of losing. This is Paul Roos first year as coach of LIST that is not at AFL standard. Have to clear more dead wood out. Melbourne have lost 3 games under 12 points this year. lets just say they won those, and we are right now 7 wins, what would the feeling be? i imagine it would be something along the lines of: really improved this year, managed 7 wins, and restricted oppo scores and blow outs. Finally on the right track. We have stopped and that sux, but the year has been better than last, and next year, it will be better than this year. Thats what is in front of us. Gradual improvement while overhauling the worse list in footy.

It's so simple, on 2 levels. 1. Player with ball in hands.. Tries to attack with ambitious kick.. Turns it over..happened every time last night.. 2. Player waiting to receive ball.. Doesn't run at ball, stands and waits. Oppo spoils/ intercepts and bang.. They are off. We are the worse team in the AFL.. By far.. These are simple footballer traits.. Yet we continually do the basics very badly.
