I have it on authority that Jetta has been asked to rest for more than 1 week.. 6 concussions suffered since Xmas has doctors saying a 6 week break might be better. Jetta though reportedly wants only 1 week off. It's a fine line.

Watts was good first game, good first half last week, shocking this week. You can't drop him. Ridiculous. Dawes must go. Need a lot more from Kent, Howe to go Fwd, Tyson has had a slow start, need Ruck support. Good effort from most today. 84 tackles says we stayed on the game. But we let them kick 2 goals after half time before we woke up, happens way to often, and set shots really bad today. Hogan should have kicked 4, Jeffy 3.. We were not without chances.

GWS will make a few teams look silly this year. We gave up though, no one stood up, Jones lowest disposal count since R22 2010.. Where was the leader that said, I'll be Nathan Jones today. Jack Viney is a beauty in my opinion, but is still young.. Vince was horribly underdone. Brayshaw should have started. Vberg had a shocker 2nd game up, Tyson having no influence and Garlett should have spent more time in the Middle, and I'm not being over the top when I say Howe played a game that he should be embarrassed by and the club should be embarrassed to have someone play in our jumper who cared so little. Stupid comment, and if you are a true supporter you will admit that is a stupid comment, because he has done lots for this club, like many players.. His decisions of late gave been bad ones, but done with the right intentions.

Lyon was at No 3 on Mikes Top 50 in 91.. Him , Jimmy, Neitzy and OX have been our best players. Are they top 50 worthy? I reckon Lyon and Jimmy are borderline. Neita 60-100 and Ox could have been top 10.. I think it's a pretty good top 50. Very hard exercise. Clearly mike seduced by premierships though.

i am pretty sure we will see Christian Salem recommit to the club this week.

I'm so excited by Christian Salem, I want 20 games from him. He will end up being an A Grader, he is so unassuming, tough, skilful, footy smart. Santa, an injury free preseason for the No 3 please.

And the family is wrapt with it, the pressure on kids and especially father sons is massive, I think it's great, how many on this website have followed their fathers career? I love the FS romanticism, I'm first to cheer and be rapt for our sons of guns!

That's exactkey what happened. Ball bounced near Lyon, he grabbed it, kicked the goal, but umpire had blown time off. Lyon them just told a Wiz to calm down, didn't tell him off.

So much panic. Jones rightly wants what he deserves, and we all think that is probably a lot more than what he earns now. MFC will know that, but being that there has been a trading period, de listings, new draftees about to enter the club, they just can't come out and say here, gave 800k for 5 years, not can they just now to any players demands. Contracts take time, and this will take time, it's a big rise and a long term offer, many things to get right, there is no reason to think Jones won't stay at the club. As much as he has been great for the club, the club has been great for him, it goes back to the so called lack of development at the club. Jones was poor in may areas, he worked hard, the club worked hard and he improved. It will happen.

Especially when you hear Melbourne youngster DOM...** hold breath* BARRY.. then you give a sigh of relief. Good luck to the young fella, hope he goes well. Once a demon always a demon in my eyes.

In the nicest possible way, Dom's decision is a blessing. Was not going to make it, ever, and now we get upgrade him. Harsh, but fair.

Its crazy for people to be talking about the 8 realistically, but I love the fact that as supporters we are glass half full. But we have been the worst team for so many years, that coming off a season with 4 wins, its hard to see us winning an extra 8 games to make the finals. Improvement, another 20 games into players like Tyson, Viney, Salem, Kent, Toump, JKH, PIck 2 & 3 and Hogan yet to even play a game is what im looking for in 2015. IMO I think we should aim for 6 wins and anything above that is a bonus. We have improved our list no doubt, but so have other teams.

Great appointment. One of those blokes that's true value is measured in what he offers off the ground rather than what he offered on it. extremely popular. some good decisions being made at this club at the moment. Bit scary really!
