  1. I'm so unbelievably pumped for this game. This could be the real defining moment of our young team's season. We could really show what we're made of tonight. We may not, but even then, it'll be good to see who can play well after a week of tire-pumping on media street.
  2. Huh? Pardon my stupidity, but what are you talking about EDIT: Oh, your mum . . .
  3. Could you show us the finished product when it's done?
  4. I love how we played him off the bench last week. It really seemed to make a difference.

Don't worry. Over the next ten years, I think it's going to become more and more "cool" for a kid to barrack for the Demons, and it's at that level that real and lasting increase in supporter numbers come. Those kids eventually become mothers and fathers with children of their own, and the cycle continues.
  6. Not a fan, [censored]? If he gets his mind right, Daniel Wells could be a top tier player. But I don't think we should trade for him, though.
  7. Good on Wonna for earing his spot in the team after being an emergency. With the rumours of Jack Watts' sore quad, I wouldn't be surprised to see him replaced in the selected team by Trengove.
  8. Who won this one again? I can't quite remember.
  9. If they "rest" McKenzie, I guarantee we will perform worse, no matter who we bring in. He is so unbelievably important to this team that I would seriously drop Jamar before him. I am not joking, either. Criminally underrated player.
  10. Another example of some ripping humour from the Boss, aka "the troll under the bridge."
  11. Oh, oh! I know this one. Bulldogs, right?
  12. Nice title. It's good that he can sort of poke fun at what was surely a pretty crappy aspect of his life. I'm not much of a biography reader (auto or otherwise), but I kind of like the Ox, so I might consider maybe possibly reading the synopsis of a review after the book comes out.
  13. And you've got the two Fletchers playing around 700 games for the one club. I think that's pretty awesome, whatever you think of the Bombers.
  14. Yeah, we'd only have to win three of our next four and then five in a row against full-on good sides. Sounds easy, huh? Hell, where's the Essendon option?
  15. I don't know what game you were watching, but two junk-time goals does not mean that Goodes "clearly beat" Morton. He was the winner, though. Too bad his team lost. But on the "tanking" issue, opposition supporters seem to think it's fun to watch your team be a laughing-stock for years. I'd never choose to go through what we've all been through in the past few seasons. But there are benefits, and we're going to experience them soon, and while we do, some other team is always going to finish last - biding it's time until it's a powerhouse once more. I think Elton John sang a song about this once.
  16. Are you being sarcastic? I honestly can't tell.
  17. Very well summed up. I'm glad I didn't have to post all of that, though.
  18. I'm obviously joking, but I don't think Freo will win it. I'd go for the Doggies, based on what I've seen of them.
  19. Whoa! Since when did they change it to be a final six? Where's the Sydney option?
  20. I just beat my 5k best by 1:25 and I did it by picturing his awesome chase-down of Lewis Jetta in the 2nd. What an inspirational player he must be to play and train with.
  21. I love that we really got to see the full extent of his pace today during that super chase he did on Jetta in the second (?) quarter. For a guy his size to catch up to a player as quick and nimble as a Jet, but to also have the strength to out-body Jonathan Brown, is just phenomenal. Huge props to him for getting his fitness to that stage.
  22. The guy is disgustingly good. So much so that you almost hate him because of it.
  23. I've said before that I thought he was singularly responible for the change in attitude in round 2, whick kick-started our good run of form. When he then went out of the team, I was not surprised to see ourr performances dip again. I cannot rate this guy highly enough and have been on his bandwagon since day one.
