  1. That would be next week.
  2. This is all well and good, but the even more entertaining thing is the crap being slung in the comments section of YouTube. Bloody Hell!
  3. 1. Caroline Wilson 2. Mike Sheehan 3. Robert Walls. 'Nuff said. And I'm a bloke.
  4. I'm not going to post each player's actual number, but here are the averages that I've arrived at for the Dees. Average* = 43.37 Average (best 22) = 37.46 *David Neitz not included, as he has retired. May not mean anything yet, but Carlton's Average = 42.27 Carlton's Average (best 22) = TBA Will edit tomorrow after further sleep and analysis.
  5. This is a wierd midweek thread. Usually a player will play a blinder and everybody and their dog will post their own "OMGZORG" message claiming the player as the next god. Then, as the player returns to normal form the next week, everybody bags the crap out of them. Is Brockie good? Bloody oath. Has he arrived? No more today than yesterday or Sunday arvo.
  6. Absolutely. I don't think there's a bigger fan of Ben Holland than me, and I'll be sad when he retires - despite him not being the most talented player in the side, he does try. And more often than not, he gets the job done. Workman-like, as much as I hate the expression.
  7. James McDonald. If not him (because of age), then Brad Miller. He's good enough to get a game and appears to bring a great culture and work-ethic to the Club. What he loses for lack of talent, he (in my opinion) makes up for in enthusiasm and dedication. Flame away.
  8. Yes, GTA is quite nuts.
  9. I've been reading some of your recent posts, Rhino and, boy, do you have a bug up your arse recently. Which is a shame, because most of the time what you say is pretty spot on. Remember to always look on the bright side of life, buddy.
  10. Two words. Matthew Scarlett.
  11. Does that mean what I think it means?
  12. Hypothetically, if we somehow scraped into the Eight, but got destroyed in Adelaide or something in the first elimination final, would people here be upset at another random finals appearance from a team that obviously has no chance at winning the flag? I know I wouldn't. For me, the feelings I had leaving the ground on Sunday are why I barrack for the Demons. I personally could handle us never winning the Premiership again as long as I could still feel what I felt that day. For me, the journey, the hope, is worth more than the destination. I would never condone "playing for draft picks." That is tantamount to cheating in my book, and totally against why I go to the footy. I go to watch us win games of football, whether it be five in a year or one. Am I crazy? Maybe.
  13. He says he went. Then again, YM says a lot of things. In saying that, despite his obvious insanity, I'm certain Yze_Magic is as passionate a demon as anyone here. He may as well be - he's on the Highway to Hell anyway.
  14. Out: White and any two of Bartram/Bell/McDonald. In: P. Johnson, Whelan, Dunn. I think Sunday showed that our ruck duo going forward should be Johnson and Jamar, but only if they both use their physicality to their advantage. White could conceivably be in the team also, rotating out of the back-line, with Johnson and Jamar rotating out of the the forward line.
  15. Fantastic. Where the heck is Point Gellibrand?
  16. I don't think they'd do it. Plus, the risk would be too great for us. Fev is a total loon, and I wouldn't want him anywhere near my beloved club, no matter how many goals he kicks. I'd do it if they substituted Murphy or Gibbs for him though. Even if we didn't get their 2nd round pick.
  17. I can just imagine. The scoreboard reads 45 000 and the stands are empty except for you, me and the one Freo supporter in Melbourne. That'd be convincing, wouldn't it?
  18. Who? The Umpires? What would they want with Nick-Nat?
  19. Well, I tipped it to a bunch of my friends at the start of the year. I thought West Coast would be bad and Melbourne slightly better, but we're horrible and they're even worse. Wow. We have some stiff competition.
  20. My million dollar question is "will Colin Sylvia ever play more than 5 consecutive games without injury?" Poor guy can't take a trick. No wonder he is under-performing.
  21. How on Earth is this still in the Footy Section? As much as I like beer, it's got as little to do with the Dees as donuts have to catching criminals.
  22. I don't really think that the big changes were ever going to be about who came in, but who is going to be left out. If these are the ins, but the outs include Bruce and Robertson, then Bailey and Connolly's big review will have amounted to something, at least.
  23. Word.
  24. Sorry? I can't understand what you're saying. You're yelling too loud.
