Would TDK or Waterman be tempting - very much so yes. We would have to pay out the bum to get them though. Besides JVR, our keys talls have been drafted very shrewdly by JT and I hope we stay on that path.

We have committed to building our forward line from the ground up and (imo) it will pay off. We suffered from having too much NQR tall timber, especially at Casey. Play the kids!! I trust Jvr, Petty and Disco to offer more, consistently next year then any older injury prone forward.

Gawny has honestly showed no signs of slowing down. My biggest concern for older players is repeat soft tissue injuries a la Lachie Hunter. If Goldy can play till 36 I see no reason Gawn can't push into his mid 30s.

Christian Petracca spotted meeting Brisbane Lions captain Lachie Neale He may be seeking the voice of someone who went through a similar experience, both requesting his trade from Freo then requesting one from Brisbane, but ultimately sticking with the latter. I don't agree with everything he says but the histrionics every time he gets mentioned is completely over the top

Wonder how chunky his contract is, if cheap I see no issue picking him up. Known goal kicker, strong leader and good midfielder. Played some good footy this year.
