  2. Great win, loved seeing our game style in action today. Comprehensive win, no passengers today.
  3. We haven't named a sub so perhaps a tall will be our sub tomorrow
  4. Actually less of this stuff, this a video about the round 0 debutants! Posted just before the teams for round 1, how silly from the media crew.

Medium forwards are not a priority
  6. In: Woey, Kozzy Out: Bowey, Spargo Yes Schache sucked, but Fullarton is coming back from injury, has had minimal exposure to our system with no game time in the 2s. With Petty back against the Hawks, I would hold out against including Fullarton. Spargo is well underdone and with a sore achilles, he should be dropped. Laurie has put in a lot of work and deserves time in the 1sts to build some synergy with the team. Bailey, Chandler or Billings to start as sub. Woey comes into HB instead of Hore as we will be way to tall in the backline otherwise. Woey will be more competitive and tougher than Billings as others have suggested.

    Petty in 👌
  8. I agree, but i also thought similarly with Schache as he was competing with very talented key forward/rucks at Brisbane and the Bulldogs. I hear Fullarton is better at ground level, and plays 'small', not as key position player.
  9. Reading comments from Brisbane supporters, they did not stress about this guy leaving. Seemed like a not quite right player - similar to Schache, but he has not had much of a chance at the upper level at this point.
  10. Local football teams do not have access to industry level neurological testing. AFL players have access to some of the highest end medical and neurological experts in concussion, the rules are catching up but players like Angus could not speak higher of the medical teams surrounding him.

  12. Very exciting news for the club. For Howes to break into the backline he must be very highly regarded by the FD. Billings and Windsor seem like natural and complementary fits to our crash and bash. All with a healthy Clarry returning. Team balance feels on point at the moment.
  13. Interesting how little bits of terminology can unlock explanations in different things
  14. Ironically, it's called the horns effect, but in demon world, I'm a fan of the horns
  15. And for Petracca, the halo effect - the assumption that everything he does is magnificent because in general, is such a high quality player
  16. Gawn stated this in his recent interview
  17. Our repeat entry system generated very bad goal scoring opportunities. Constant kicks against from the boundaries compound issued with accuracies. It also stopped us using any slingshot style moves that create space in the forward line.
  18. Thank you Gus, your on field leadership and courage will be sorely missed.
  19. Click bait headline, good article
  20. Unfortunately he will be competing with Hunter, Langdon, Windsor, and possibly Billings, Brayshaw or Woewodin. Hard to see where he fits in. Foot skills aren't very notable, good athelete and runner but contest wasn't exceptional in defence. Tall-ish, but is he good overhead? Fingers crossed he shows something.
  21. Howes in no man's land, if he finishes the year uninjured, and not in the 1sts, I call bust
  22. We might need Gus on the wing over Windsor, hunter is an exceptional runner and we may be missing it. Would explain our issues in transition running.
  23. This was the knock on the Pies game style last year, hopefully the positives out weight the negatives
