It's not the changes I would've made but I get it. We absolutely suck at marking inside 50, so let's run a small forward line to hopefully force better shot selection. I personally don't see Sharp or Spargo in the 22 but our depth is just not where it needs to be, so it is what it is.

A bunch of Hawks like Watson, Meek, maybe even Day are coming out of contact in 25/26. One or two of there best players will be pushed out or be low balled. Edit: they be gunning to land a free agent like Allen or trade for Harley as well.

Brad Green's speech stating we will walk out rnd1 with Viney, Petracca and Oliver was a show of amazing support. However, it is clear now that these guys are not getting it done. What we do have is the young talent talent to be a top 8 team. Things might change when we stop expecting our '21 stars to win every game for us. I'm starting Viney and Petracca forward. We need leadership and a genuine threat in the forward half. Let Viney tackle manically and Petracca act a nasty match up for any medium defender. We want to play a forward half game still, so they will have plenty of time on-ball. I am starting any one of Windsor, Lindsay, Kozzy, Langford and Rivers at centre bounce. This has to be the midfield of the future. I am giving the keys to our supremely talented young players.

Great to see Sestan in the emergencies, we need some precise kicking off HB and career wise it's time we see if we can make it or not.

We're desperate for leg speed and aggression, even if Ricky is a bit fresh to the system I think he will help our drive off HB. After seeing Saad EH debut for Essendon, it could be an exciting option to debut a speedster too.

Would we be tempted to debut Mentha? Or simply bring back in Howes (underwhelming) or Disco (back to defence?)

Id be happy to have one of Viney/Petracca to be shifted for 80% forward time so we can have a Langford or Laurie take the minutes. Riv would be best suited to take on the role but he not in great form either. Laurie plays as a full time mid or not at all. He cannot play any other position.

My gut feel is that he won't. Spotted in crutches after a hospital stay, and the second time dealing with this infection is bad news IMO. Antibiotics are very taxing, in a high performance environment, players need to give 100% to be match fit - giving that 100% makes it much harder to deal with these kind of infections.
