  1. I firmly believe West Coast will win just 1 more game for the rest of the year - probably against Richmond in round 22. How can they overlook the opportunity of getting two top 5 picks. And Melbourne will not win 5 games. Surely Bailey and the football department will realise that winning a 5th game would be counter-productive to the future - ie missing out on Scully & Butcher. Plus we're not good enough.
  2. I find it funny that Jamar (2 games) is already ahead of P Johnson (11 games).
  3. What happens if the competetive performances between rounds 4-10 evaporate into 12 goal losses for the rest of the season? Jury is certainly out on Bailey. How could it not after a 4-29 record? But on the other hand, is he under instruction not to win > 4?
  4. I thought he should've debuted in a less pressure game - rd 14 V WC. I'm not surprised in the slightest that he had no impact. How many players do on debut?
  5. 6) C Sylvia 5) C Bruce 4) N Jones 3) M Jamar 2) A Davey 1) B Moloney
  6. Best player at the club at the moment.
  7. LOl @ the Royal. Had the start of my bucks day there last year, before the first North game. Let's just say the entertainment is c+ at best
  8. Sylvia - 17 touches and 1 goal. Good first half? How many customers are at the ground?
  9. Down by 42 points at the 1st break. Do we deserve another Q'bday game? Approx crowd?
  10. I thought Rivers had his best game for the year on Kozi last week. Slowly but surely his regaining form. Hopefully he'll be back to his best nest year.
  11. I'd say Whelan has been given a 'farewell' Queens birthday. Then Cheney may take Whelan's place for Essendon if he's ineffectual.
  12. Heath Shaw to lose the plot for the 16th time in 10 months!!!
  13. Seems like an irrelevent tip if he no longer tips Collingwood on principle. Still a great preview by our Collingwood customer.
  14. Is it just me or would McDonald not be missed if he doesn't make it this week?
  15. Catch a train near Carrara Stadium, and it drops you right at the Gabba. You'll get back to GC very late!!
  16. Agree. Would attract about 5,000 more customers, and prevent us writing a cheque.
  17. Seeing as though winning isn't important this year, I'd play this forward line this week. 0 goals in a half is pathetic so we need to radically transform the line. HF Sylvia Juice Watts F Jurrah Robbo Maric But I know Jurrah won't debut while Watts is a possibility. I also know Bate will not be dropped. I think Bate and Miller should both pay the consequences for contributing a grand total of 1 goal between them for the game.
  18. 11,234 customers
  19. It's a shame as he played one of the best defensive games I've ever seen on Scott Welsh in 2007. He then followed up with a good game V Didak and Collingwood the next week. Then a fornight later he caused a magnificent spoil on Scott Lucas (Daniher farewell game) and tore a 4 week hammy in the process which wrecked all his momentum.
  20. Was there any proof that we would've been compensated for moving our game to Docklands? Poor outcome for Geelong and Saints fans. For the record Port have a better record at the MCG than Etihad.
  21. I'd throw Petterd to the GC for a half eaten ham sandwich if it means they'll keep their grubby hands off Sir Cale Morton.
  22. Bail I'd say. Can't wait to see Strauss in action. For some reason I'll always compare his career to Zaharakis from Essendon, as I read somewhere that we were considering both Z and Strauss in last years draft.
  23. Why is Jones always listed on the extended bench on Thu night, and why did he start on the bench on the weekend? I think this thread has merit. I appreciate that he had a BOG V West Coast, but these strong performances are few and far between. He's turning into a turnover merchant. It's as if Jones kicks the ball with his eyes closed - it just goes anywhere. Bailey has dropped him before and wouldn't be afraid to do it again. Surely all is not beer and skittles with N Jones.
  24. I'd be a happy with a maximum of 2 home games in Darwin, and 6 total interstate trips per season. I think 4 home games in NT is too many. The travelling and heat would take its toll on the players.
