I vowed never to return to that cess-pit after seeing us get done by both teams by 70 odd points both times in 2004 and 2005. ALthough I must say it's better going to Port games as there are normally 25,000 less ferals to deal with. Good luck to any Dee fan going, and I hope they put up somthing resembling a fight.

No I didn't go to Casey, but I've seen replays of both 2 games and I feel the club must make changes.

I'm advocating Maric playing along with Newton. We're kicking 10 goals a game, the fwd line must be rotated and experimented with, to find the right chemistry.

I can forsee a 2-20 season with a percentage slightly better than last year. I'm stuggling to identify clubs we're capabale of beating. Perhaps Freo at home in round 20, or a club ravished with injuries. We have gaping holes all over the place, and our young team is only going to get more tired as the season gets older. I'm glad Freo won more than 4 games last year, as I'm thinking they'll be in line for a priority pick this year - but after the first round not before it.

I'm happy for Aaron Davey to take the kick-ins and play that 'quarterback role' going forward. He played it well vs Collingwood. I don't see the urgency of Davey in the forward line for the future as we have Wonna, Maric, Aussie and Petterd as you're small forwards capable of kicking goals. They just need to learn to apply defensive pressure like Davey was made famous for in 04-06. Assuming we get picks 1, 2 and 18 this year, would anyone entertain the thought of putting pick 2 on the table if a gun forward or midfielder who's played 50-100 games was offered for trade?

I'd say more like 4/7 based on yesterday's performance. Dunn, Newton, Meesen and Maric are all musts for next week. Newton simply to contribute 2 or 3 goals.

In - Maric (a must!), Dunn, Jurrah, Meesen, Newton, Whelan, Valenti Out - McLean, Spencer, Bartram, Bate, Sylvia, Bennell, Jetta, What's the deal with McLean only getting 13 touches. Is he fit enough?? And it's time to play Meesen. Currently we have to worst ruck duo in the AFL, so Meesen can't do any worse.

It's clear that Bailey is playing kids that are not ready for AFL standard. Jetta 6 touches Bennell 8 touches Do we have any depth at Casey? Maric Dunn Meeson Newton Valenti

Agree. Richmond had a shocker, but are way better than us. Richmond will win 10-12 games this year. We'll win about 3. We should be the last team to take the [censored] out of Richmond.
