Would be happy with that arrangement. Bailey gets demoted to a player developent management role while Laidley takes the reigns on match day. From what I hear, Bailey is a great teacher but isn't a capable match day coach.

YM is an entertaining poster who brings colour to the forum. But his constant bagging of Bruce is beyond an unfunny joke, or an uhealthy obsession. I've been advocating putting pick 2 (if we get it) on the table and chasing an established young gun under 25 who's ready to make a PROFOUND impact next year. Dean Bailey plays the afl.com dreamteam and has Davey as his captain. Our super coach plays him at half back in order to fatten his stats and increase Bailey's chances of winning fantasty football. At least this is the logic I can see in Bailey playing this class act away from goals.
