We trade Jamar for something useful - otherwise we risk losing him in the PSD for nothing. We're able to get Bell (who I consider a list clogger) off the books. We get a little sweetner in the form of a 4th round draft pick, which we could then on-trade in a last minute deal. I'd also make enquires into Brett Ebert and Justin Westhoff. Ebert seems to be on the outer after a great 2007. I'm not surprised Port rate Jamar. He beat Port's Lade/Brogan duo in round 15.

Can understand dropping Miller and Bartram, but dropping Dunn (who's been playing really well, and needs to perform to save his career) is very harsh IMO. I would've dropped Cheney, Jetta or Martin puerly based on last weeks form. Then again, we're trying to lose, right?

I don't think we need WCE's first round draft pick. We'll likely have 1, 2 and 18 which is plenty. We'd have to give up a Davey to get it. If anything I reckon we should put pick 18 on the table and see if we can trade for a ready made player that can help us get off the bottom next year.

Robbo, if you honestly think you've got a bit left in the tank, look after number 1 and pursue your career with another club if the Dees are not interested in you going forward. If for example, the Dogs pick you up but you only manage a couple of games, at least you can say you gave it a crack rather than die wandering.

I know this is probably unlikely, but Robbo may have received some intelligence that another club in the premiership window (ie - Carlton or Dogs) may be interested in him for 1 year.

I wouldn't mind Ricky Petterd signing on the dotted line - since he's from QLD. After round 11 I was happy for the GC to take him off our books, but since then he's really impressed me in a few of the games.

Shameful would be winning a couple of pointless games, thus missing out on picks 1 and 2.

Freo have had the wood on us since 1995. Freo have won 4 of the last 6 games at the MCG against us. Freo beat Carlton away from Subi this year. We're both rubbish footy clubs so I can't see how you can say one team will spank the other.

Even if we win this week, Freo can still beat us in rd 20. If Pav and Sandilands dominate, they'll beat us.
