Brent Moloney bleeds for the club. Is that enough to get him over the line? Brock would be the other obvious choice for the long term. Green if we want a short-term captain. Grimes is too young, but would be a chance if he were 21 or 22.

I've been thinking about this all week. On the one hand it would be absolutley fantastic to win 2 in a row (first time since round 10-11 2007) and to destory an opponents finals hopes. Plus I know we have un-winnable games V Geelong and Sydney coming up week. On the other hand I can't help but think we still have Freo and Richmond on hand. Your thoughts guys!

At the moment I would swap Morton for Rioli. It's no coincedence that since Rioli has been out of the Hawks lineup they've been pumped 3 weeks in a row.

I'd actually like to beat North Melbourne at Etihad for 2 reasons: 1) We've been North's [censored] for the last 3 years. For a team low on talent, they've sure made fools of us. I've never forgiven North (or the Dees for that matter) for spoiling my bucks party by killing us in round 4 last year at the G. My mates couldn't believe how bad the game was and how bad Melbourne was. 2) Would be nice to finally win a game at Etihad. May help overide the unwarranted negative perception that heaps of MFC fans have over the stadium. Plus would be our first win away from the G for 2 years.

Very disapointing that our pick 17 (Blease) and pick 19 (strauss) have both had season ending surgeries in their first year. Hope Blease, Strauss and Maric will be ready for day 1 of pre-season as they're a big part of our future!

North win one more game for 5 wins. WCE win one more game for 5 wins. End result: We get picks 1 and 2 and still win more games than last year
