  1. Not sure why people are even thinking about Frawley for the saints. Surely a hammy requires 3 weeks out and hes Only missed 1 week. Maybe a chance for Bulldogs? Couch or Magner must come in. Ludicrous to think that these boys both got 40 touches in the vfl but would be overlooked. Surely both would at least break even with Tappscott's invisible performances.
  2. Thought he was ok yesterday, best game for the club. I can see a bit of talent in Pederson. The 1 or 2 squibs don't really bother me as much as others.
  3. Thoughts? (Thought I'd try and cheer a few of us up tonight with a poor joke)
  4. What about Liam Jurrah as a president candidate? Someone suggested this in another thread.
  5. Was just about to give N Jones a cook until I realised he got 30 touches
  6. I'm confused. Goddard played 10 seasons with St Kilda and yet Saints had the opportunity to match Essendon's offer.
  7. It should be noted because the coach could actually win enough games in a 12 month period to equal roughly an 11-12-1 record which is good enough to finish about 10th. Therefore Bailey > Neeld
  8. A small win. Elliott is a dangerous forward and an excellent mark for his size.
  9. I see a bit of Norm Smith, Kevin Sheedy, Tom Hafey and Leigh Matthews in Dean Bailey after comparing him to the current coach. It should be noted that Bailey won 11 games between round 15 2010 and round 17 2011.
  10. At this stage, it looks like round 19 at Skoda will determine who gets pick 1 and pick 2. Can anyone see us beating anyone else.
  11. Two things that have me stumped: 1) How Magner does not get a game. 2) How Bail gets a game.
  12. Robbo suggested/hinted this on AFL 360. What would prompt the herald sun chief footy writer to ponder this? Hmm Don't love it but certainly don't hate the idea either. Your thoughts?
  13. If it means we get to keep Frawley, Sylvia and snare Daisy Thomas, where do I sign?
  14. If they want any chance of retaining Sylvia next year, they better not play him at Casey this week.
  15. At all kick ins I'd get Dunn to torp it to the centre. At least we might get a chance of kicking a sausage on the fast break. Our kick ins are too slow and sloppy.
  16. One wonders why they bothered dropping Strauss considering they've brought him back after just 1 week and Freo had a plethora of small blokes kicking loads of goals last week.
  17. 5 goals, 13 behinds and 4 out of bounds on the fulls.
  18. I remember that game. He was marking everything, playing as a really good lead up forward. Just don't let him anywhere near the goals.
  19. I expect us to lose this game by only 35 points with 100% effort and application, and Neeld survives Monday's board meeting. Then we come out and lose by 100 points on Queens Birthday, and the vicious cycle continues. As for the Ins - Fitzpatrick and Pederson (and maybe even Rodan) should be rewarded for solid VFL form. Bail must come out. He's been woeful for most of the year, and quite frankly is a very average league footballer. I wonder if Couch would help our midfield later in the year?
  20. 20 touches and 2 goals against Freo was a much better output. The classy midfielders of today regualry get 20+ touches and 2 goals a game.
  21. ^^^ Paul McNamee eh. I almost forgot about him, we've had so many failed CEO's. Was it him or the Snake Skin Salesman Ray Ellis who tried to make a play for Jonathon Brown?
