  1. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d rather Frost over Tomlinson. We’re the slowest club in the AFL and we’re now happy to punt the fastest player on our list.
  2. I’d play this bloke as a half forward flanker pinch hitting for 2 centre bounces a quarter. Despire his want to be a full time midfielder, he should be utilising his innate ability to hit the score board. Petracca should be aiming for and kicking 40 goals a year and be in contention for all Australian.
  3. I thought 2019 was a pretty good year by the Dees. Thought ANB, Stretch, JFK and the Wagners took giant strides as AFL footballers.
  4. Wow that’s lofty expectations! The elite such as Martin, Fyfe and Dangerfield aren’t even capable of it.
  5. Just mail Gawn the medal and cancel the night. Absolutely nothing to celebrate this year.
  6. And not once in that article did he mention the club and how he hopes they bounce back next year. It was only about his personal development as an AFL player and how he hopes to become a full time midfielder.
  7. Another example of the media over-rating us, even after the disaster that was 2019. How can North and St Kilda's window be deadlocked closed, two clubs that were significantly better than us in terms of wins. Meanwhile they reckon our window is ajar to wide open after a 5 win disgrace. No wonder our players drink their own bathwater as much as any other club.
  8. If this bloke can finally stay out of the medical room he could be a solution to our key forward woes. A 4 goal JLT performance on one leg was very promising and he can take a grab. A big IF tough in terms of whether he can stay healthy and whether he's actually good enough.
  9. I feel that way about GWS.
  10. For anyone undecided who they want to win, would you rather see 100,000 feral, rabid, arrogant and passionate people shattered and heart broken after a loss or the 15 orange people that probably couldn't give a toss that they've lost and will move onto following Sydney Roosters the following week? The answer's pretty simple i would've thought.
  11. Should we have a look at him as a DFA to address our pace issue?
  12. Looks like our poor form has extended into the trade & drafting season.

With today's re-signings, you'd imagine it's curtains for he and JFK.
  14. Going to pop the champagne cork tonight with those names.

I'd take him. A noted 2 goal a game goal kicker. Have no faith in Weideman, and T Mac needs support. We simply can't have a repeat of rounds 22 and 23 again when we literally ran out of key forwards. The situation was that dire that we couldn't even play O Mac as a forward because even he was injured after T Mac, Weed, T Smith and Petty.

GC should make a massive play (with the AFL's help) on getting Max King rather than the other way around with respect to St Kilda trying to poach Ben. People are moaning about how bad this club has become but are not offering up any solutions on how to fix it. Getting Max up there with a generous salary package (possibly outside the cap) would be a start
  17. Richmond would be spewing they chose him over Fyfe.

Good luck to him. Needs opportunity and he'll get it up there if he's half good enough.
  19. Anyone think Fritsch could be the equal to or better than Elliott? If Fritsch’s games against West Coast (4 goals) and North (3 goals including a mark of the year contender and goal from outside 50 into a howling wind) are any indication for the future, then we’ve got a belter of a player on our hands.
  20. We should all get together one day and pull out the 1989 VHS copy of the Melbourne V Geelong Panasonic Cup triumph. Sadly that might be the only taste of success we’ll ever see with this mob.
  21. Are we keeping JFK around for another year for his obligatorily 5 games a year?
  22. I don't even think Salem is worth a high teens pick. Two times in his career (2017 and 2019) his form has fallen off the cliff in the second half of the year.
  23. I’d take him back. How many games did we lose on account of putrid inside 50 entires this year? Watts would be the only bloke at this club that could consistently deliver an inside 50 competently.
  24. Any possibility we play in Alice Springs twice to make up for the Darwin revenue shortfall? We seem to play well in Alice. The WC loss this year was one of our better performances for the year, and we’ve had some big wins there in 2017 and 2018.
