  1. This game has to have ramifications. They canโ€™t just sweep it under the rug.
  2. Peak Melbourne tonight.
  3. I recall that game in 2013. We lost to a 0-17 GWS in Sydney and not one person was surprised by the result.
  4. That we were a disgrace.
  5. Thatโ€™s the last time weโ€™ll be seen in prime time for years.
  6. I thought T Mac has a reasonable first half but faded badly in the second.
  7. Iโ€™d remove Viney from that list the others I totally agree with.
  8. Lyon going off his nut on the half time Fox Footy show. Good on him.
  9. Unless the opposition is GC, Hawthorn, Carlton or Freo we ainโ€™t winning a game of footy in this league.
  10. Weid needs to be directly in front, no more than 30 mtrs out if this year is any indication. Needs to seriously work on his set shots if he wants to make it in this league.
  11. Sparrow averages a goal a game against Port. I like his inclusion.
  12. If memory serves me correctly we match up well against Port at the GABBA.
  13. We were 8 points down but it was a false economy. Felt like 28 points down. They were all over us late in the third and were so much fitter than us in the 32 degree heat.
  14. You should be right mate. It's only 2 people. If SE Queensland starts having tons of cases, it's season over considering VIC and NSW are now off the table.
  15. Twice. We got flogged by WC in 2011 in Perth by 8 goals. We beat Sydney last year by 20 odd points. Both times we were fixtured on Thursday nights as the AFL backed us in to be something special for both years.
  16. Looking forward to watching Fox Footy re-runs by mid August.
  17. So what quarter will most of Westhoff's obligatory 5 goals occur?
  18. In hindsight they should've rested him against Brisbane and played him this week. Looked off his tucker all night, especially that sitter he missed. Two games in a row might be the limit for him this season.
  19. Can some please explain to me why they're opening the GABBA for just 500 people? May as well save everyone the trouble and play it behind closed doors.
  20. 500 people is absolutely pathetic and insulting to the local MFC members in QLD. Play it behind closed door so everyone can miss out as opposed to pretty much everyone. It's like a teacher bringing in 30 chocolate bars into the class room and only 2 students getting a chocolate for no apparent reason.
  21. May as well just play the game behind closed doors.
  22. What's that saying about defending the indefensible? Fristch stuffed up. End of story. Had he not given away the 50, the Lions player likely would've kicked it down the line to a Max Gawn contest 60 mtrs out from our goal, and who knows what may have happened after that?
  23. Fair point about the need to replace Jetta like for like. I just feel that he won't get selected this week, and they either move the magnets around (and bring in Sparrow as a separate inclusion) or bring in Smith or Rivers as a replacement defender.
  24. Sounds very unfair you can't get a ticket and it sounds like you love the Dees as much as anyone in QLD. Just play the game behind closed doors. What is the point of having 500 people? You can barely hear or see the crowd when watching GABBA games this year . Infact there's been numerous game that Fox and ch 7 have put on the canned noise despite there being a crowd in QLD. Also sounds like the ticketing allocation has no integrity about it. Play it behind closed doors, as per the earlier rounds.
  25. He probably should be. He's not a bad back up every now and then.
