You’d make a good recruiter. 9 years later and the blokes an absolute gun. Yes please if we can get home for a 3rd rounder.

Damien Barrett's scathing assessment of the MFC
I think you're on the money. The fact that we didn't get to host either of QB'day and Anzac Eve and got horrid and severely under budgeted crowds for the Richmond/Collingwood/Sydney August home games is probably going to really hurt us financially.

22 Under 22 2019
Interesting that Collingwood do not have one solitary representative in the extended 40.

Damien Barrett's scathing assessment of the MFC
If the AFL was worried before the Demons' presentation to the commission on Tuesday ... then it is even more worried now. And unlike the Suns, it won't be offering priority national draft assistance. Anyone care to take a guess what he's talking about. Why are we back to being a basket case in the space of 12 months?

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Can anyone makes sense of this from Damien Barrett? If the AFL was worried before the Demons' presentation to the commission on Tuesday ... then it is even more worried now. And unlike the Suns, it won't be offering priority national draft assistance.

Sam Frost - Contract status
And T Mac's game against Carlton which everyone's forgotten about. 6 goals by 3 qtr time is a pretty spectacular effort. We would've won 3-4 games on the run home if he didn't get injured. His form turned around at the Freo game and it was match winning against average sides.

Sink or Swim and an apology
Speaking of Brad Hill, he shouldn't have any right to choose his club of choice (rumored to be St Kilda) considering he has multiple years left on his contract with Freo. Hill should go to whichever club benefits Freo the most, and if that's Brayshaw for Hill, then so be it. Would we have the salary cap to fit Hill's asking price?
-
Callum Ah Chee
Did snag a 5 goal game though. Not overly impressed with him. Delisted free agent at absolute best.
-
Tex Walker
An absolute fair enough comment.
- "Nothing to see here"...or not

Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
I feel we need a little sweetener coming back our way. Any chance they'd throw in Hogan as steak knives?
-
Tex Walker
He kicked 43 goals this year including 5 in round 23. What did our leading goal kicker end up with this year? Sad thing is he'd still be a better option than Weideman, T Smith, Petty, O Mac and whoever else has graced our atrocious forward line this year. I love it how we're quick to bag blokes like Walker even though we have the worst forward line in the AFL.

Kamdyn McIntosh
My word he is. All of them.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
When has Josh Mahoney ever played nice at the negotiation table?
-
WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Then we should offer up the Wagner brothers to GC for pick 100 in good faith that GC won't take Langdon in the PSD (if that draft actually exists anymore)
-
Thanks Jeffy
That's most unlike Demonland.
-
Thanks Jeffy
They rate C Wagner over Garlett ??!!!!??? Really.... Garlett was an outstanding acquisition considering the little we gave up for him, and provided some great entertainment over his 5 seasons at the club.

2019 - Positives
Salem played too many poor games after round 15 to make this list.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Yes it's a bit unfair but I can't believe it's gotten to the point we're upset we're getting pick 3 instead of pick 2. Those days should be well and truly behind us. The days of relying for help from the AFL (ie. getting pick 3 as compo for losing Frawley) should be well and truly behind us.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Josh Schache was the clear number 2 pick in 2015 who’s developed into a 1 goal a game key forward that spends time in the Footscray magoos each year. Can Rowell and Anderson transfer their under 18’s dominance from U 18’s to AFL?
-
The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
I had Josh Kelly on my mind but didn’t want to mention him as that would’ve contradicted my comment. An absolute gun at pick 2.
-
Jamie Elliott
Too injury prone and we have enough of them.
-
The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
He goes very well. But in 5-10 years will he be the best player from that draft? The absolute super star generational talents such as Buddy, Fyfe, Danger, Judd, Dustin Martin and others were not top 2 picks.
-
The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Whatever. Q) What do Fyfe, T Kelly, Dangerfield, P Cripps, Bontempelli, Grundy, Gawn, Neale and Dusty Martin have in common? A) Blokes that are dominating 2019 and are at the absolute top of their game, and none of them were top 2 picks. The eventual best player of this draft won’t be picks 1 or 2.

Review One player at a time
Bayley Fritsch: Looked comfortable and at home as a defender. But was then inexplicably thrown forward late in the year and looked like a fish out of water.
