  1. Seriously, the worst post of the year Get a grip
  2. What a dumb comment, seriously.
  3. Thought Laurie was excellent in the last quarter Max is awsome on his own
  4. Hawks never kick out from a behind to a contest. May... most times
  5. Hawks cutting our zone up with deft short kicks and good delivery I50. They've been doing that to us for years
  6. Is Kossie playing? Is he the sub????
  7. Trac and Oliver need to explode in the second half. Largely unsighted so far
  8. Umpires should get their OPSM sponsorship back

Get the Tassie kid, he looks very, very good

That's ok, means we have 5 and our 1st. Trade up and it might be 2 x top 10 picks. Would've been nice to get Reid, but the alternative is also very good

My commiserations for your unfortunate position. Good to see you back. Chin up!

Unfortunately Taylor ain't going nowhere Would we take Haynes in a salary dump? Turn his $1mill+ final year into 2 x $650k and get their top 10 pick???

No, but if we trade him, who's next? We need to be creative with support for Max, or it'll be JVR, Petty or (good God no!) BBB sacrificed as fill in ruck. Our development rucks at Casey are like baby giraffes! Who do we target?

Would you rather play Coll, Bris or Port at the G, finals 1st week after a bye??? That's the big question

If Grundy leaves (and I doubt it), who is our next in line ruck if Max goes down? Anyone?... Anyone?

I reckon the pies are resting tired players, rather than depleted. Good management. I'd rather play Bris or Port at the G. We f 'ed up last week

And the pies won many by a similar margin... why they are coasting on top and we are a chance to miss top 4. We need to convert those close ones onto wins! Which is what I'm guessing, you are pointing out

Please tell me you haven't only just noticed this? 😂
  19. Sorry, wannabe mod I won't venture into your territory again lest I break your rules 🙄
  20. Better to go phonetically rather than spelling, or both. Craig I. Eburn sounds wrong
  21. Club President: Craig E. Burn
  22. They are always going to put the whistle away on contentious decisions last quarter in close games. Always. Reckon it's an AFL decision, not individual umpires making the call And then afterwards, 'nothing to see here' I could bet my left 🥜 on it every time
  23. At the time, I said to the guy sitting next to me in the stand that they would not change the umpires call no matter where the ball was, as they no longer change decisions or make contentious decisions in close games. It's real 'head in the sand' stuff from the umpires dept. The JVR trip is absolute proof of that. What I was more disappointed by was the insipid attempt at goal line shepherding by the Melbourne players. They were out of position and made feeble efforts too late. Doent matter that the ball came in fast from Trac, someone, anyone should've been on the goal line ready to shepherd. And don't get me started about Salem's shot on goal from 48m out when Kossie was in front of him running clear for the pass 20m out, 45 deg angle. Easy set shot. Do they put horse blinkers on when they get the ball inside 50??? Arghhh!
  24. Anyone know much about this fella? From AFL site: SANDRINGHAM Dragons prospect Charlie Edwards has clubs watching him as the big-bodied midfielder makes a late dash up the draft board. "He had that breakout game against Dandenong and he just controlled the ball. He can play as inside and outside midfielder and is a very good athlete," said Mark Wheeler, Sandringham's talent manager. Edwards played for the Dragons at the start of the year but had limited pre-season given his strong cricket talents, however, he has taken the eye of scouts in recent weeks.
