Maynard must get at least four weeks
Especially given Maynard came out in the press mid week saying how hard they were going to play. He was odds on going to make a big hit statement early in the game

Maynard must get at least four weeks
Have no problem with Maynard jumping to smother the kick, but to clearly turn and drop the shoulder into Brayshaw's head with eyes on the player is a dog act. He'll get offered 3, but Gil will drop it to 1 on appeal so he can play in the GF. Appease the big clubs. Nothing is surer, it's the AFL way

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Grundy won't play on Thursday, not unless Max is injured before then. The weather forcast doesnt look good, no way we are playing both Max and Brody Not sure Tmac or Schache are good options either

Judd McVee named 4th on Zero Hanger's Rookie of the Year
McVee snuck through to us in the fog of covid. I think I read someone here saying Taylor had his eye on him all along and really rated him, but that injuries and the pandemic set his development back A great addition to our backline

Actually, the Vic Govt owns the MCG, through the MCG trust. The MCC has the rights to manage it under contract, I believe

Jake Melksham Injury
Max is very much the optimist. He also talked about the Gawndy experiment continuing, whereas Goody acknowledged that it hasn't worked and that it may be over Let's hope he's right

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
We have an A grade culture and support system. We should be able to straighten him out, that is, if he's keen on us

I think we'll use 4 picks in the draft, incl what we get for Grundy (maybe mid 2nd rounder). Upgrade Turner, maybe upgrade McVee a year early, ensuring he gets a decent 3/4 year contract. That's 6 there We could trade up for Reid, 2 x top 10 picks or 5, 15, 33 and 2024 1st. Leaves us with Freo's 24, the Grundy 2nd rounder and late pick for Brown Out: Melk, Hibbo, Dunstan, JJ and Grundy. Reckon Harmes stays (urghh!), BBB too, both depth, but who knows. What's the status of Schache, is he on 1 year? In: Reid, picks 24 (Tholstrup) 27ish for Grundy (Freijar), Pup Brown Upgrade: Turner, McVee All speculation, of course Will be an interesting trade period, that's for sure

You're empathising with Collingwood fans? Really.... really?!!! The post three above yours says the $30 membership was for priority 3 for finals as well. It's a simple marketing ploy to get new members into the club. Clearly it worked, and the bonus for them is they can low prioity level access to finals tix. I bought priority 1 tickets today at 10am, but I also bought GA tickets at 3pm not using my membership. So could've anyone not a member. We get $30 and a new member, they get to go to the game which they could've done without spending the $30 Where's the issue again? - TICKETING: 2023 Finals Week 01
