We need one of Smith or Weid or JVR in to straighten us up. In finals you HAVE to kick down the line and take territory when the pressure is on. You need big fwds to compete and at least half the contest. That IMO is not having Spargo ANB or Sparrow (who played well) trying to wrestle 2 opponents and if we go in and ask Petracca to play 80% fwd we are kidding ourselves.

For the last 2 games. I haven’t watched the replay pf the QF yet, but live we didn’t look to take many risks ( i was level 1 on the wing).

@binman IMO I think the only chance Tmac has of coming back in is if (god forbid) we lose on Friday night and we are exposed for not having a 2nd traditional kew forward. He would come in for a semi final. My question. Who will be the medi-sub on Friday? As we have the entire list to pick from as Casey aren’t playing.

Calm down pal. In the 2021 pre season. It was clearly stated he was trained to play as a fwd and his secondary training position was on a wing. I’m not saying that’s where he should play just saying if he has been trained in the position, he could in theory play a quarter or 2 there as a sub if needed.
