Is it too early to call JVR the first player to win it twice? If he dominates the last 9 games and wins it, I still think he is eligible the following year under the criteria.

Bowey - on different planet
-
Bowey already looked the goods then with Salem out he just went to another level.

I'm in a very blokes group chat with mates I've had from the 80's. If any of them posted that content 1) I'd make sure we got it removed 2) I'd be asking my mate wtf was that and making sure he understood that it wasn't funny

Schadenfreude: What do you say to your non-Demon friends?
Wrecker46 replied to Big Col's topic in Melbourne Demons
I must admit I got alot of love from mates in the lead up and following the premiership. I was arguing we were going to win the premiership every year for 20 years straight and then when I realised it was likely last year I shut up and nobody could believe it. I am getting baited about back to back and a dynasty now. I'm staying quiet again for the same reason. -

Txt to my cousin who barracks for Geelong You guys were good. Could even finish 2nd this year. -
What I am feeling really weird about is sending messages to Carlton and Collingwood mates to congratulate them and they all write back that they have nothing on Melbourne. Every single one of them. I'm not used to it.

He should have got more. Won the coaches award just 1 vote short of the record. The umps don't like him he was by far the best player in the league last year. Petracca or Gawn could win but Oliver won't.
-
Has anyone got footage of Hunt smashing Daniels? That is heart and soul type football.
-
I don't think he is ever going to win a Brownlow, despite being the best player in the league. The umpires hate him.
-
May the swagger continue.
-
I've thought the same.
-
I'd look at AVB if he is fit.
-
He must want publicity for not picking Gawn. The All Australian captain, premiership captain, hero who kicked a goal after the siren to win his team the minor premiership and tallest player ever to kick 5 goals in a final.
-
I've always wanted to see a chart of house price rises in marginal seats v safe seats. The marginal seats get preference in infrastructure.
-
Is Brayshaw perpetually underated? He famously came 3rd in the Brownlow without even getting invited. He was our best player in the premiership quarter in our first premiership in 57 years.
-
I look forward to booing him on Wednesday.
-
I don't know whether I would laugh or cry if he got a call up for them as a Covid top up player.
-
Junction Street oval curse? There are far too many.

The only thing that compared to watching the Dees at the G. RIP Warnie.

@daisycutter and @binman You both make valid points about vaccination and transmission. This is not an argument about the efficacy for keeping people better off and out of hospital when they get Covid. I just think that all the evidence suggests that the vaccine doesn't mitigate against the spread. I encourage you to look into the furin cleavage site (fcs) not a website just the scientific name. There are a sequence of 19 nucleotides within the approx 29,000 in Covid that make it highly contagious between humans. HIV has a similar sequence and after decades we still can't stop the spread with vaccines but we can with anti bodies. Moderna took out a patent on the sequence 3 years before the first reported case of Covid. They don't know how to stop the spread yet but they will work it out and it will work for HIV, Sars and Ebola.

Smells like Dee spirit.

Saying Jesus wept is like a facepalm. Where you want to ridicule but can't articulate it.

If you bothered to post the link it would be more credible.

Wrecker46 replied to Engorged Onion's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hold off 1 year Daisy and coach under Clarko until we are ready for our next succession plan.
