Harry McKay leaving Blues?
He’s not who we need right now. We need to keep adding elite kicks and guys who don’t panic. Bergman and Butters would be ideal.

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
If they were Melbourne we’d be saying they’ve been dropping games because of mid season loading. They play us this weekend. We’ll beat them and a tiny glint will appear in our eyes…..maybe just maybe we can still win this!

Harry McKay leaving Blues?
Bergman is our target I hope

Time to go Goody?
May should be retired or shipped out to North at year’s end. He’s nowhere near our next serious tilt and thus expendable

NON-MFC: Round 15
I am yet to watch a game where Mac Andrew rates anymore than an average tall back man. I don’t see the hype.

TRAINING: Sunday 22nd June 2025
Good reports folks and in well ahead of time. I'm with DubDee, 5-9 and virtually no injuries, that's simply nowhere near good enough. I'm presuming that we're holding back the likes of Lindsay, Langford and Windsor from midfield roles until they're strong and fit enough. There's literally no world where I'm playing Oliver, Petracca and Viney in the same midfield. Petracca plays the rest of the year forward and is told he needs to learn to embrace the physicality of the game again. Oliver is no longer allowed to kick it unless he absolutely has to and Viney is played as a small forward. Oliver, Pickett, Rivers, Langdon, Langford, Bowey can all run through the middle. I do really hope we use the rest of the season to try new possibilities even if it means losing winnable games.

Training Ground?
The club makes a statement that it doesn’t believe in further advertising a company with extremely dubious methods of getting business. Sure it likely won’t turn the dial very much but it starts the conversation and now very few clubs lean on gambling directly. It’s now time the AFL got on board. Problem is those in the big house are amateurs with little no social conscience who love the long lunches gambling provides.

Trade Targets
Exactly, does anyone think Caddy or Morris would be any good for us, they’d look like JVR, bereft of confidence. It’s why we can’t persist with the Butcher Trio in the middle together.

Training Ground?
Do some research into the harm gambling causes annd how the companies deal with problem gamblers and tell me they should be advertise everywhere and to our kids.
-
Training Ground?
I’d say there’s a range of illness and issues underlying it but read some of the accounts of problem gamblers and their interactions with gambling companies. It’s quite unbelievable what they do to keep you spending money. Countless stories of people losing their homes and then being offered 30,40K and more into their accounts as the companies know they’ll lose that and more.
-
Training Ground?
No it does not. Gambling is causing widespread harm, dig into the suicide rates and gambling shows up at every turn. I’m very happy the club has said no as you should be.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
Disagree 100% Take a look at his form last year, he’s had an injury interrupted preseason, second year blues. He’ll be a 200 gamer, worth every cent

We're making solid profits without them. The money will come, it's not the issue. Getting a big Green light to commence work is what we're all waiting for.

NON-MFC: Round 15
We weren’t the only ones to miss him. He’s got some elite kicks drilling it down his throat atm. He’d be lucky to take a mark with Petracca, Oliver, Viney and Rivers kicking it everywhere but out in front.

Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
That’s completely 100% incorrect

MFC CEO MIA
Guerra just has to land Caulfield to get a statue, that’s it.
-
MFC CEO MIA
Did he turn us down?
-
Training Ground?
Does anyone know why the board said Guerra can't get stuck into Caulfield negotiations?
-
MFC CEO MIA
On every media and club report at the time we were told he wasn't starting until September. We'll all be at the snow so I've left a note on his desk telling him to sort out Caulfield or we'll be ramming a stock right up his ginger when we return from the snow. Gee it's a nice desk, Schwabby was there trying to claim it but I gave him back his whiteboard and sent him on his way.

Training Ground?
Good to hear, I’m not concerned about the money either, wouldn’t surprise if the umpires joined us as well. Really hope we get this up, such a great site.

Training Ground?
What chance do give us?
-
Training Ground?
Most of the money the club will raise will come from the wealthiest supporters, probably less than 35 people. They’ll want to see the plan. No one who’s serious is giving money to a club that is financially sound unless we’re ready to go at site. The money will come, the problem is securing the site.

Except the council isn’t interested in us using the site but knock yourself out.
