PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
People are going to freak out but we missed Spargo yesterday. Sharp is a sub and no more. May and Lever are at the end, yes May’s game got better after quarter time but he moves like an 80 year old. Smart by Ross to drag Windsor deep, I bet you even he didn’t think they’ll get 3 cheap goals out of it. That rushed kick for goal by Koz is really inexcusable for an AFL player. We weren’t set up and they went coast to coast with ease. I thought Marshall was excellent. If we’re loading then I find that ridiculous. AJ actually had a pretty good game but he’s going to get suspended again. Honestly can’t see us getting within 6 goals of the Pies.

Time to go Goody?
Rubbish, he’ll see his contract out because unless we totally drop the bucket he’s doing a reasonable job transitioning the game plan. Today hurts, no doubt about it, one of the more frustrating days at the footy but I’m putting today fairly at the feet of the players. I reckon they thought it was going to just happen and then they shti the bed kicking for goal.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I thought today was an opportunity to give him a full match. Sharp is a sub, not much more.

I’m not sure we can pass judgement fairly on Laurie today.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Take away those awful goals to Butler in the goalsquare which should have never happened and kick two more goals in the second half and we win. Losses to North, Essendon and now the Saints have destroyed our season. 😢

You can add that he’s taken Windsor back to the square and Butler, who’s a smart forward, has kicked 3 from the goal square.- GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Thats my first thoughts but we lose his midfield drive even though he’s providing none atm 🤷♂️- GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
May was good in the second- GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Windsor’s getting pulled back and out of the play and the Saints have capitalised on it.- The Kalani White Thread

Bit disappointed Laurie’s the sub. Think he deserves a full game. On Liam Jurrah, still hold some blame to Mark Neeld, he really failed to see the kind of player Jurrah was and if my memory serves me there was some murmuring’s of racism at the club at the time. I may be wrong on this but it’s how I felt at the time.- GAMEDAY: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Last day of my holiday and I really need a Dee’s win. I’ve flooded the lads footy wattsapp group with the kind of pro Demon propaganda that we read here daily.- The Roy George Thread
He’s a project player and as such it really falls on his desire to make it. It takes an incredible amount of unrewarded hours to become an elite footballer. On top of that he’s away from family adding another layer of difficulty. I’d imagine Matty Whelan would be supporting his efforts. I’d love to see him blossom into an AFL small forward for us.- Stats File - 2025 edition
Absolutely, I may of got my golf analogy a little off. Our repeat forward entries appear less contested but I may be imagining that. It’s why I thought perhaps we’ve pulled our defence back to the defensive side of the wings. I also noted May and Salem took some marks back there when Sydney came out of our F 50. Just stretching the ground out so as to draw the swans out of our D50. It also seems we’re hitting the top of the goal square a lot more and with Kozz running around why not. Anyhoo I’ll take a closer look at KB as it’s harder to gauge on tv. I’m also someone who’s still getting into the subtler side of tactics and how we play. Our 21 style was really clear.- Stats File - 2025 edition
It’s this that gives me confidence. Our one wood might be contest and defence but our putter and most important club appears to be playing a front half territory game. One question I have is do we set up our defence further back to allow an exiting ball to also clear our F50 of the opposition?- CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
Not super quick but appears good by foot, I imagine he can break a tackle. Are Sparrow, Langford, Petracca and Oliver quick?- CASEY: Rd 10 vs Sydney Swans
I just feel that if Laurie can’t prove his worth at AFL level it will be Culley who gets the next shot. I love his size, finals and big games love a big strong body and he has that. Going to be an interesting watch.- We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
I don’t see it as cockiness. We have a very strong list that’s largely fit and we’re playing a competitive game style. At this point anything is possible.- We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
It’s actually a good result for us as I’m looking at a top 4 spot until that’s unachievable- NON-MFC: Round 12
