Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
That's the thing though, he doesn't, from time to time every player in the league, bar none, takes a short step to avoid contact. It's instinct. Harvey will likely do it from time to time but he'll still end up one of our sides best players. Anyway it's a pointless argument, you won't admit you're wrong.

Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
Questioning the courage of an 18 year old who's performing at such a high level is ridiculous. Every person who has ever played the game has done it. He's gone back with the flight on several occasions to mark and make spoils yet you pick this out. If you want to see what shirking looks like take a look at Docherty's last month.

Really, which quarter?

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
I don't hate Sharp as a sub/bottom 6 but I'd love to find someone better. Brown? Sestan? Laurie? Woewodin? No one knocking doors down as yet.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
May looks sore all over, has done since Chol broke his ribs. I'd be resting him as much as possible over the season and really working on his mobility in the hope he can influence our last 8 games along with his side kick Lever.

Tom Fullarton
I'm putting a line through Fullerton and now await to see if Kentfield can become that player. For now it's AJ until JVR finds form. Turner back to defence and I reckon Petty stays forward for now. Good problems to have considering how well our young recruits of the last few years are travelling.

The AFL 2025 Fixture
I love arvo footy, I'm 75 mins away and night games get me home past midnight. I used to love the big games now I much prefer a weekend game at I.20 with small to mid range crowds. I don't like booking, I like rocking up 30 - 60 mins prior, grabbing a seat with a companion, these days my kids, who are now both loving the footy and then kicking back. Humans, cues, being packed in.....yeh, nah, no longer interested. I did go last night but bar the third the game was pretty meh.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Next test is Hawthorn in a fortnight. Need a good win against WC. Tempting to take Campbell across and rest Max as much as possible to have him cherry ripe for Meek. No VFL game again is poor timing. Fritsch is miles off it and I’d be trading him on current output. JVR or AJ, Turner and Melksham back in, Fullerton, Sharp and Fritsch out.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
No because at his best he reads the play well, finds good position and kicks beautifully

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
No idea what will happen tonight. Expecting an entertaining game but in reality I’d like to win by 120 points

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs Richmond
If we play like we did last week Fritsch could have a field day if he’s playing deep forward like Koz did last week to great affect.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Once again Morris is likely full of 💩

Noah Balta - Sentencing
That’s likely the worst argument I’ve ever heard for not putting someone in jail
-
Training Ground?
Does he have any power to make things difficult?

Noah Balta - Sentencing
I’ve no idea of the breakup of types of crimes that end up in jail. What I do is these violent attacks are all too common in Australian society. Maybe if we gave these guys 3 months in prison things would change. I’m not pretending to know the answer but whatever we’re doing atm isn’t working. Just say Balta was jailed for 3 months, a reasonably high profile sportsman, does that save others from being king hit and then repeatedly smashed in the face??

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
I’m not enamoured of him but could easily see him become captain. Wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Noah Balta - Sentencing
It’s not about basic understanding, I understand the law and in plenty of cases I think it sends the wrong message. I get we do t send first offenders to jail very often but maybe if we did people would stop beating on others. Balta’s attack was way out of proportion to what he was apparently defending. 3 months in the can would get people thinking and likely save a few from being assaulted.
