The List Manager
I’d put Rivers in a deal for a strong pick or part of a trade. I’m not that keen on draft picks outside the top 6-8. I’d love to see us attract a Bergman type player, I believe Lord is a possibility although I’m not sure he’s what we need. I want 2, 23-25 year olds who are strong and can kick. I’d like to hang on to JVR unless the deal is compelling. The others I’d be happy to trade are Oliver, Petracca, Sparrow, Lever and then any of the VFL players if there’s any market. Originally I wanted to keep Oliver and Petracca, both of whom have worked incredibly hard with some excellent support from the club, however their disposal is just too much of a liability now. The question is how brave will the club be?

Time to go Goody?
Personally I’d prefer Goodwin over Buckley. If we’re to change coach get the best and most accomplished assistant and get Simpson in as Football Manager. Then bring in someone like Leppitsch. Our list is far from bottom 4. Goodwin has had his time and he must know he’s not coaching beyond 26. Feels like time to step down as I don’t reckon we’ll be sacking him.

Agreed, we have to be bold. How that pans out will decide next year. I still believe we’re comfortably a top 6 team with the right tweaks.

Media Madness
Petracca has definitely changed the way he plays. There was a moment on the far wing when I think Sparrow scrambled a handball toward Trac through a mill of players. Trac notices movement and hesitates at which point Butters flys through and grabs the ball in front of a flat footed and wary Petracca. I’m all for him not backing into packs but he had to go harder at the ball and contest. It’s a worry.

Training Ground?
Whilst I’m in the believe it when I see it camp I’m not feeling the need to take continual pot shots at the club until we get confirmation one way or the other.

Training Ground?
I’ve always been in the I’ll believe it when I see it camp. The business case was due now and I see that’s changed to end of year. Not happy Jan!

Max Gawn shanks left - AGAIN
He also walks directly toward the right point post. It’s amateurish, walk straight toward the target, hold the ball steady and kick through it. It ain’t that hard particularly from 30m

Time to go Goody?
I’m just pointing out that it’s not all bad. Incredibly disappointing that we have gone backwards at goal kicking and the same problems still exist but they are absolutely fixable. I’m leaning toward new coach but think that’s unlikely this year.

Time to go Goody?
The funny thing is if we kicked for goal to the AFL average we’d be 8-5 so we’re really not as far away as you think

- Training Ground?
The land is currently completely wasted. They should be welcoming us with open arms. I’m an occasional dog walker there and it’s amazing that in the middle of a housing crisis we have a huge amount of vacant land surrounded by amenities and zero development. Who’s getting paid?- Time to go Goody?
This is certainly the most likely. Will we be aggressive at the trade table, that is the question.- Training Ground?
It’s so not a contentious space. It’s disused paddocks with a few dog walkers. The only reason we don’t get our home up is if Kanga has pocketed some cash and someone else is going to develop it. This is wasted space on all levels. A couple of ovals wouldn’t use half the available land. Get it done!!- Kalani White Extended VFL Highlights
Darcy Mk 2- Time to go Goody?
Whether Goodwin is coaching us or not his salary remains in the soft cap until the end of his contract meaning we'd have to back end any new coaches salary out of next year so we could attract some new assistants. Replacing Richardson is a no brainer, can't imagine Goodwin taking that role but would solve the salary issue. Williams has to go because he's in charge of kicking straight, he's failed, see ya! I'd want the very best and most experienced assistant in the game. I don't want Simpson or Longmire, fatigue will set in quick with those 2, we need an 8-10 year coach. Goodwin will struggle to survive I'd of thought but who knows. A part of me thinks we signed up Kozz before we moved Goodwin on.- Time to go Goody?
Our prime movers have terrible disposal and no ability to steady before disposing of the ball. Our entire game falls down because of this. We can’t go into next year with Petracca, Oliver and Viney all in the team. That’s the reality even I didn’t want to face. You can’t execute a game plan that requires good disposal with these 3 running around in the middle.- Goalkicking
It’s because we need cleaner ball use at half back and as a mid he just bombs it like the rest of our experienced mids. It’s a huge concern.- Goalkicking
Can’t disagree. That was schoolboy stuff today. In the end though if we kick straight in the third we probably win that.- Time to go Goody?
Whilst I don’t think it will happen you simply can’t employ a coach who has this list bottom 4-6 2 years running. It’s simply not acceptable- The Kalani White Thread
