For all their many fantastic attributes tactical nous is not a strength of our current captain and co captain. Before you scream and jump and and down look no further than the Saints last quarter.

My understanding is that both Collingwood and Richmond would like Gosch's. Tennis Australia have also thrown their hat in the ring. I've no doubt Eddie could get in Jonathan Munz's ear about getting Melbourne into Caulfield so the Pies can take over Gosch's.

Had we got any of the post 21 players you list we would have had to offer up draft picks and big contracts. The picks we used on the likes of Langford, Windsor etc. I get the dissatisfaction of our trades but they cost us nothing and Goodwin was steadfast in his belief up to the end of 23 that his plan and players would net another flag. I maintain had we not lost Petty, Melksham and Gus that 23 Flag would be ours and Lamb would be part of that success. The fact Collingwood won............

I We were discussing post our Flag in 21...Prior to that he helped build a list that won us the Flag so I'm surprised you have a problem with his work prior to 2021.

Just run us through the players who changed clubs over those years that we could afford that Lamb missed on.

Training grounds don’t attract top tier talent, successful, well run and well coached clubs attract the best players, well that and plenty of cash. Show them finals and cash and they’ll come.

The only way Sharp and Tholstrup play in front of Sparrow or Salem is if their form improves very dramatically. Sharp’s VFL standard in all aspects bar pace and currently Tholstrup is VFL standard in all aspects.

It might suit him but he'll be joining the queue at Casey.....Lindsay, Salem, Jiath, Howes, Taylor, AMW, Onley He'll need to find some sure handedness to get a game in the back half ahead of the first 4 on that list and there are 3 chasing him already. He really needs to become a midfielder but he ain't got it atm.......needs a solid year.

If Casey was the answer we’d already have moved there full time. It’s becoming pretty clear that it’s not overly popular distance wise and I understand that. Traffic was one of the reasons I fled the city.
