CASEY: Rd 17 vs Carlton VFL
I actually agree re Jefferson. I thought he was terrible early but he didn't drop his head and often got to the right spots, competed relatively hard and is clearly as nervous as a kid on his first day at a new school. Maybe a new coaching staff would help.

I've been offline a few days, just catching up, oh wait nothing's happened.- Time to go Goody?
Surely he can now take your man Jefferson with him. Christ Picket, his game today was worse than bad. Zero impact.- POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
Frustrating as per our new standard. If Jefferson is AFL standard then so am I, sheesh he’s ordinary. Apologies to the bloke but fair dinkum. Thankfully JVR reminded us that he’s an AFL footballer. We should bow out of the season now, it’s too painful to watch.- The Kalani White Thread
It’s annoying when the perfect comeback cones to mind later Ron.- The Kalani White Thread
No counterpunch…..you gotta work on that. There’s a host of them.- PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
Personally I’d offer May to Nth Melbourne and play Petty at full back. I’ve loved having May at full back the last 5 years, the total package but he’s cooked.- Time to go Goody?
There’s a lot of Melbourne supporters who would disagree with that sentiment.- PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I don't get the reference to a drinks card. Clearly I'm missing a simple explanation here. Which you can give in the next response :)- PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
Whats drink card boy in response to?- We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
It doesn’t float mine either. Watching ordinary football isn’t that enjoyable- Time to go Goody?
You clearly haven't been reading my posts.- Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated
The bath's empty and the babie's gone!- Time to go Goody?
I don’t see our problems as list issues, which is not saying we can’t improve in that area. I’m of the opinion on that MacRae would have this list in the top handful. Collingwood’s list is thin, Frampton, Markov and there’s others all slot into a system that is so well drilled that they keep winning. So where does that leave us? I’m ready for a new coach but get it wrong and we really are in trouble as we could easily do worse. We weren’t miles off this season but again the same issues persist which has to fall on the coaches. One point to remember in all this is Goodwin was also dealt the Oliver and Petracca disasters. They weren’t his fault and he’s now playing his 2 Aces when in actual fact he’s holding a 10 of spades and a Jack of Clubs. Put those 2 back at their very best and we possibly aren’t having this conversation. Imagine if Richmond after 2017 had a 20% drop in form from Martin and Cotchin? Anyway I’ll continue to oscillate from absurd confidence to general malaise. At least Kozz ain’t leaving at years end!- Harry McKay leaving Blues?
They’re there, you just gotta look- Training Ground?
We got changed in the snow and then walked 9kms to the ground in bare feet in a blizzard.- NON-MFC: Round 15
Operation get the Bergman- PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
I get that but he’s contracted and has been good at Casey. Sharp offers little and Tholstrup’s all fizz and no bang. JVR and Jefferson should be given a month to show if they can be our forwards.- PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
Not sold on the changes. Not sure what Sharp brings, Tholstrup has no form, Jefferson is vanilla but the cheap type. I’d of kept JVR, dropped Viney and Lever and bought in Jefferson and Laurie, who surely deserves a run. Melksham as sub. If May gets flogged then it’s Adam’s time.- Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
I wouldn’t think so.- Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
If we go into next season with the The 3 Butchers in the midfield and our 21 defensive pillars we may as well not bother.- TRAINING: Thursday 26th June 2025
