They are in a tough spot (that we know only too well), but still plenty of contempt for the Dees in that thread. If we dish out a thrashing to them, I won’t mind.

Brad Hill epitomises where they are at present. Lost

Wish we were playing the saints twice this year. They're hopeless.

There's an epidemic of throwing in the game. Sidebottoms throw just now was blatant.

In addition to the pieces that were already there, May, Lever, Maxy, midfield, Langdon etc. Our small forward pressure has gone to the next level. Thommos rock solid role down back freeing up Lever for the intercept role he's perfect for Gus playing the defensive wing position very competently Our ruck combo. LJ freeing up Gawn to move forward and back as circumstances require. Just need to add BB. Once he's integrated into the team we have the last piece in our premiership puzzle.

Adelaide have taken 15 marks inside 50 in the first 3 quarters. They'll be doing well to take 2 marks against May, Lever and Thommo when we play them in round 10.

Spargo's tackle on Bachar Houli (I think it was Houli)

Riley Thilthorpe looks a real player. 5 snags on debut. Very strong in the marking contest.

Adelaide are dead eye. 11 straight. Whats the record for consecutive goals kicked.

Neita is a class act. Great speech.

Once a nick name sticks there’s no point railing against it. If people know it riles you they will just go harder. You got to embrace it and turn the tables. So if the Tiges fan gives a lame jibe in your face just remind of the game last night saying “Snow contest”

I agree with all that. They were sly and underhanded throughout. Didn't expect from them, with the exception of Lynch.
-
a slight exaggeration perhaps but i think his return to this level is miraculous. Remember, the club couldn't give him away during trade period.

As well as playing very well on the field i have to give a shout out to the selectors. We've got every selection call right this season. I thought BB or Weid might come in this week but instead but we stuck with what got us to 5-0. complete vindication. I think Melks is most at risk. I'm not a Melks hater and I know the qualities he brings to the team but he's had 2 poor games out of 3. If we are to be serious contenders this year we cannot tolerate below average performance. I think he should be replaced by BB. Having said that, as well as having complete trust in the team, i also have complete trust in the selectors to make the right call and if that's an unchanged side I'll accept it.

I agree with the need to stay humble. Pointing to the scoreboard is disrespectful to a champion team (although i wasn't impressed with their grubby tactics during the game). We are 6-0, playing brilliantly and set up for a big season but we haven't won anything yet. Stay classy Dees fans.

I love what Charlie is doing. Best pressure forward in the comp. Had an off day last week v the Hawks but was back to his brilliant best yesterday.

There is zero chance we don't turn up to play nest week. I have 100% confidence in our temperament and attitude. It has been spot on all season and won;t be any different next week. I get why people still find it hard to fully trust the team given our history but on the evidence so far this year the penny has dropped. Finally.

I don;t fancy an upper cut but i'll happily eat some humble pie. He has been fantastic. His resurrection act this year is on a par with Lazarus.
-
Nic Nat was dreadful yesterday against Geelong. He's unfit and carrying at least 5kg too much. Nic Nat has no tank. Gawn is going to give him such a working over when we play them.
-
I was the same. Normally i'm a bundle of nerves watching on but yesterday was different. We were always in control and easily kept the Tiges at arms length throughout.
-
I wasn't at the game unfortunately so couldn't experience the tiges fans first hand but i've found them to be on of the more reasonable supporter bases in the league. Big footy attracts the loudmouths by the look of it. What i didn't realise before is how grubby and under hand the Tiges are. Always with the sly dig and always needling. I actually hope the Doggies pump them next week.

He's as tough as they come. Never shirks contact. There have been a few occasions where I can see the contact coming and winch in fear of what might happen but Gus never backs out. He has found a role in the team and is playing it well. Great work Gus.

I'm delighted Jonesy experienced an epic win like that on his milestone. Too often these occasions can fall flat (see st kilda v us in the Spud Frawley game). I won't lie, I was nervous about him playing against the Tiges but he held his own. Will struggle to stay in the team over the medium term but on last nights evidence i think he warrants his spot against the Roos next week.
