GAMEDAY: Rd 03 vs Essendon
Essendon are bog ordinary at the moment. We're still in second gear. I predict an unconvincing 25 point win with Trac dominating again

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
I'd like to see the Swans pinch this

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
Never a dump tackle. The AFL need to talk to the umps about the doggies bias. It's ridicoulous

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
John Longmire will give his players a serious bake at half time. They have been deplorable. Worst half of football I've seen from the Swans in a long time.

NON-MFC: Round 3, 2022
Reckon there's more Swans fans there than doggies fans

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
I'm glad he's back .. and glad he's not playing us tomorrow night

Charlie Spargo Contract talks
His tackles stick and his disposal is near flawless. He's not flash, just goes about his business week in, week out. The definition of a quiet achiever. A contract renewal is a no-brainer. Sign him up

Brownlow chances for Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver?
Trac is the best bet. Reckon he has 6 votes in the bag already so thats a big head start. Clarry wouldn't have polled against the Suns, not sure about the doggies game.

AFLW: 7 Dees named in 2022 All Australian Squad
I'm delighted to see Shelley Heath named. She's the female equivalent of Nev Jetta. Tough as, hard at it defender. Doesn't lose to many one on one's.

Max Gawn - Slow start
Gold Coast were very good at creating marking contests around the ground ensuring Max didn't have any easy marking opportunity. Of course he has taken strong contested marks before but credit to Gold Coast for negating easy opportunities. Dewy ball as well. No need at all to think his slow start might be indicative of a decline. He has 5 AA's. He'll be right

Who to cull?
There’s a full season to play yet. Way too early to be speculating on who leaves

What they are saying at Bomberland
I don't disagree with too many of their comments although I do wonder if they have seen us play this year. I don;t think we have been that impressive so far. Conceded an 8 goal run against the dogs and labored against the Suns. We are beatable with the right mindset although their greatest weakness (lack of forwards) offsets our weakness (loss of first choice defenders). Hopefully the supporters pessimism is shared by their team and they don't have the belief needed to turn us over

100%. the mute button is your friend On a positive note I think Jonesey has acquitted himself very well so far and Nathan Buckley is very insightful about the game. Solid additions to the commentariat

NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
one of the worst umpiring decisions you'll ever see. Never in a million years was that a dump tackle. hopefully won;t impact the result

NON-MFC: Round 2, 2022
This game is poor quality fare

Farewell Luke Jackson
Dogga has shown zero signs that he is not happy or wants to leave. There has been not a murmur from his management team or any ambiguous comments implying he might want to leave which you usually here if a player isn't happy. His parents were even talking about moving over here. The whole go home factor is overblown. Aside from Tim Kelly (who let it be known for a least a year he wanted to go home) there have been few examples of players leaving that clubs wanted to keep.

I didn’t look at those stats, my comments were purely observational. It just seemed to me the Suns forwards were able to mark the ball in good positions.

AFLW Finals Week 1
The 3 week break is not ideal particularly as Brisbane have tuned up with a simple win against the pies today. Brisbane are the reigning premiers and are now match fit and rested. It's going to be a very tough game for us next week

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
Gold Coast played well last night. They had a plan for us, avoiding the Langdon wing, creating marking contests, no easy marks to be had at all for us, hard at it around the ball, defensively solid although our delivery to our forwards was sloppy Miller is A-grade, Chol was a handful, Rowell is tough as. With Rankine to come back in I reckon they’ll win a fair few games this year We badly need Lever back in the team. We’re conceding too many inside 50 marks and scoring chances. With more composure the Suns could have been closer and made it a nervy last quarter. We will lose sooner rather than later if we meet an accurate opponent. We have to get Rick back in to marshal that defence Bowey was exceptional. Other than 1 errant handball in midfield his disposal was flawless. He has that rare quality of always appearing to have plenty of time. Positions himself perfectly, reads the play so well. Dogga is a beast. He’s now clunking marks that he was dropping last year. Sign him up now. Kozzie never gives his opponents a second of peace. Always hunting and harrying. Took his 2 goals well. He’s going to have a monster game soon. It’s brewing Trac was BOG. Played his typical brutish game We got the win while playing without some key defenders. We’ll put the points in the bank and move on P.S. Metricon is a lovely stadium. Pity none of the locals have any interest in heading along to see their team. Dees supporters outnumbered the Suns fans 60:40 I reckon.
