    Haha, yep everyone wants to leave, that's why we have had a massive amount or re-signings.

    I don't get why every event has the rubbish music, you go to footy training, cricket, local pool, shops and you get slammed with it. So annoying, nothing wrong with silence.

    Great write up. How different is it being a Melbourne fan now. I remember so often there would be 2-3 players that should not be playing seniors. Boy am I glad those days are done.

    I agree, if you stuff up the early picks that can really set you back. Your early picks in theory should be the match winners, they don't usually come from picks 30 onwards. Getting good players with later picks is a bonus.

    If you look at the 2014 AFL draft GWS had a mare. The only really good player was Steele who they gave away.

    What a terrible article, couldn't be so far off the mark. Even before winning the flag I would have disagreed with so many of those points.

    Fantastic, historically we have proven even top 10 picks are hard to nail, so hats off Jason.

    How different this is from 5 years ago when we would struggle to come up with an appropriate captain. There is probably half a dozen now that could step up.

    Good move. I think he still has upside, plus we would have basically given him away for nothing. Keep him hungry and motivated and we might see a turnaround.
