  1. So you hope that BBB DOES turn out to be the year’s biggest disappointment. OK, I suppose losing the Grand Final would be a bigger disappointment.
  2. I have no idea what you mean. You agree with my comment that I hope BBB is the disappointment of the year? Or you’re unhappy that I made the comment? Seeking clarity please.
  3. Let’s hope that BBB doesn’t turn out to be the year’s biggest disappointment. There’s still time to come good.
  4. ? I thought this WAS a google test. In 1997 when Search was the new big thing, we used to have those as a lunchtime game at work in Hong Kong. That was about the time my memory retired.
  5. Gram Parsons (real name Ingram Cecil Connor III) was with The Byrds.
  6. Happy to have participated but surprised by the lack of depth.
  7. Terrible fumbles followed by a great, effortless kick from 50.

  9. Easily fixed. Let’s go with favourite instead. ?
  10. 6. Petracca 5. Oliver 4. Gawn 3. Harmes 2. McDonald 1. Brayshaw
  11. Thanks Andy, George and Binman. Great show as usual.
  12. What a great win. But strangely, I have been more nervous watching this year. We did many things brilliantly but there is one obvious area where we need to improve, and it’s not hard to do so... We drop too many marks. Last night the regular offenders were Gawn, Lever, Jackson, Weideman (and probably others). Big guys who get their hands on the ball and don’t hold on. Our new boy, Petty, showed them how to do it. Well done Harry.
  13. 6. Oliver 5. Harmes 4. Lever 3. Petracca 2. Spargo 1. Gawn
  14. Ron Barassi and Hassa Mann weren’t too shabby either.
  15. Right. And maybe can we can add passion to the intent and outcome debate. Let’s see how Christian handles that one!
  16. Maybe the insufficient attempt (OOB) rule should be judged by boundary umpires? They are always on the boundary side of play so may have a better view. As well as less to think about. Or if not, maybe they should be consulted by field umpires before the decision is made? Something has to improve. (btw, my auto correct changed by mistyped “umpires” to “impures”. Says it all, really.)
  17. Forget Bedford. He’s not up to it and IMO, never will be. Remember, not every recruit is going to make it.
  18. According to The Âge: Former Collingwood cheer squad figurehead Jeffrey “Joffa” Corfe has been charged with two counts of historical sexual offending against a Melbourne teenager more than a decade ago.
  19. That was never a rule.
  20. this is the rule now, isn’t it?
  21. Great to read the analysis. Makes a very welcome change from the Melksham can’t tackle, Brayshaw can’t kick, Goodwin can’t coach, umpires can’t umpire posts we suffer through.
