Fox/Kayo Footy Shows
After such a great win, I’ve been watching all the Fox/Kayo footy shows. Regardless of their views on our game, this is my assessment: Bounce… Just for entertainment. I can’t take any of them seriously. First Crack… decent analysis AFL 360… both Gerard and Gary are good. Razor Ray is excellent AFL Today… I don’t care what they say. I can’t get past the voices/accents. Elocution lessons anyone? On the Couch… Jordan Lewis is head and shoulders above the others. Riewoldt is out of his depth. Buckley might be unlikeable, but he is smart. Hawkins is just making up the numbers. What do you think?

Farewell Clayton Oliver
I feel like starting a dozen new threads to get this one off the front page. And yes, I realise by posting this, I’m perpetuating the problem. So this is the last from me on yesterday’s hero. Let’s focus on today’s and tomorrow’s heroes.

What's our best line up?
You’re going a bit early with Cross.

VOTES: Rd 03 vs Carlton
I agree, BTF.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
Our young guns had no ammunition. Windsor, Langford, Lindsay, Culley, L. Pickett were all very poor today.

6 Gawn, the usual high standard we admire 5 4 3 2 Steele, plenty of possessions but terrible disposal today 1 Kolt, did a decent job on Serong

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Easy, there!

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
Two I don’t want to see: Kolt and Laurie. One of them in the team would be a mistake. Both of them would be a disaster.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
I love Simon & Garfunkel. Are they coming to see Sparrow?

Farewell Christian Petracca
Could be. Or maybe he realises he has to prove himself all over again. Either way it was a great performance.

Farewell Christian Petracca
I haven’t read the last few pages of the thread, so maybe someone has already said this… Last night Petracca’s disposal and selflessness hit new highs. His kicks inside 50 were way better than they were for us. And he always looked for someone in a better position. It looks like instead of thinking he’s the best in the team and trying to do it all himself, he realises he has to do the team thing. Too bad he didn’t feel that way last year.

2026 Player Numbers
Or maybe they could have felt lucky they were sons of Demon greats and got a chance at the big time.

Left-handedness and competitive sport
Jack Viney is left footed, but I don’t know if he’s left handed. In any case, he’s just a bit competitive.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
I can’t see Laurie getting a game. But if he does, good luck to him. He’ll need it.

Latrelle looks very exciting. Can someone tell him that you can run 15m, not 5, before bouncing it?

Every Team's Best Tackler
This best tackler list appears to be based on quantity of tackles. For a better understanding, don’t we need something about quality of tackle? Eg, free kicks won through tackling, or turnovers created through tackling?
