Here here !!! Lockhart a walk up start gives drive and run from back and is very necessary.
  2. Why do u think that??
  3. Rooke actually Both unlucky
  4. Yes he gets the best out of his troops and is not as defensive now. If not Coach then an Assistant
  5. Hope this doesn't mean Jay Lockhart is under the pump He still played his game of run and taking the ballon and is needed in that role. Jay is so courageous also.!
  6. Interesting to see if AFL apply their social distancing rules as in society etc. No excuse cuts really even if a tragedy like this occurs Isn't that another Reason for distancing and application to social rules for AFL players? Especially if they are In the midst of uncertain times and health!
  7. Who is Gaddy then ?
  8. Rubbish 39 Roos had already moved Howe into defence Howe was not keen really as he indicated and his manager Alex MacDonald that Buckley said he would play him on the wing because of his engine!!! Thats a furphy as we know and he had been a defender since But if he was at Melb Roos would no doubt have kept him in defence
  9. Dollars??? Who is that ?
  10. Play him (Hardeman) on the back flank he had the pace and skills to go with smaller players. Reckon also that Neiter should be our CHB as it is a bit small even with Wight or Biffen. The forward line with Jacko at FF Stynes and Gawn in FP and last spot between Ooze and Greenie. Neitz and Lyon could change at any time and any forward could play in most spots other than Schwartz and Neitz in key positions.
  11. 2002,2003 and 2001 in fact. Was at that game and amazing comeback after horrible start. Lions had a rare bad day in defending but still kicked 16 goals. Really 1994 and some other wins during 98 and 2000 Plus 87/91 There was a lot of ability but injuries and I think an ordinary defence at times cost us a chance if a flag.
  12. Last para could have been left off Now Maxine Clarry and Trac carry the modern can! Greatest Demons since 1958. 1.RDB 2. RFlower 3.D Neitz 4. JStynes 5. H.Mann Hon mentions Mithen Dixon Alves Wells T.Viney GLyon Schwartz (undoubtedly would have been in Top3 if not for injury.) Modern Potential for Top5 Jones Clarry Maxie Trac
  13. Ross Lyon? He is much more attacking these days!
  14. I'd nearly leave Hibbo out for Jordan and include Bennell for a risk. Surely you must gamble on youth and class in this instance. Rivers Salem and Jetta plus Jones and Tomlinson can fill the HB flanks depending upon the opposition. Also Lever Really is a floating HB or Back Pocket. Chandler misses out due to Kozzie and especially Bedford who is no 2 small on the list even ahead of Charlie Spargo.
  15. No not good enough !!!
  16. Geelong games and Swans should also have been wins !
  17. While I agree Tilbrook had ability it was Not on display very often or fir very long. Nothing like say Gerard Healey who we got about 4/5 years of almost elite footy consistently. Tilly was great to watch on song but was missing generally vs top teams far too often.9
  18. Thanks Dee 56 yes we are all in this together and it is teamwork that will get our team back on top.
  19. Ring them or email others have bought recently following Gawnies letter.
  20. NoThing has changed in our games !!! Rueing missed opportunities early in games viz 1st quarter
  21. According to Ross Lyon who is still in touch about once a week he is going well. Ross on Footy Classified (wed night) said he is most positive and is very grateful to Melb for giving Harley a lifeline. PS will improve our forward line as he has unique skills in getting the ball and kicking it accurately. I know this is an incorrect location but Zi would've quite happy for Ross to coach The Dees In 2021 if Goody cannot solve their forward line issues this season. He has a record of a game plan which was getting more aggressive each year he coached. PS He won't have many staff to deal with as all Clubs will delete some in the future.
  22. Sorry this year is far from a write off if you have been reading AFL info They are desperate to hold matches initially without crowds To maximise the broadcasting rites. Reckon last 6/8 rounds will be maximised with crowds and multiple blockbusters to also gain revenue. All our players may get chance to put claims for placing on 2021 list if we resume. Other IN/OUT May be Goody if he fails to get forward line working!!!
  23. Don't mind the 22 AFL team but still not sure that Tommy is not our best FF.option. Can't understand Why we would keep AVB if he is sidelined this season and delist Chandler. Would also keep Dunkley and Jonesy as he will be our best forward at times with his kicking and he is fitter and better than last year with fitness and injury. would delist Baker before others also. Agree with Nev and Hibbo. ANB also a delist candidate.
