Player Pay Cuts in 2020?
Yes but they won't be struck Down like the old and vulnerable with the disease! Msny like Dutton will say they are fine ! Naturally they will have to quarantine as we must do if they contract the virus Csnt imagine many 22yo sportspersons adapting to Self isolation Can you? Hard times for all the population throughout the world fit the next 3/4 months at least it appears.

Winners & Losers of the 17 Round Draw
Perhaps the lower nine teams from 2019 could get the 9 home games and top sides only 8? That would in a small way be an evener upper for the 17 game draw.

Jake Lever - Our next captain?
Biggest issue here is the reply by Gawnie. Whatever he thought privately you can't always be full truthful in circus like this. It should have been " Well as you know we have Jack as a great vice and there is a great number of potential candidates in the playing group.Thats why our leadership is based on our quality decision makers for the future. But hang on I haven't even got the seat warm yet!" With a typical Maxie humour!

AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
That is the schedule and for once you have made a COMMON SENSE point about the lack of flexibility of the AFLW. Agsin I think Nicole Livingstone is a puppet from another sport and not strong enough to use her group or opinions.

AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
Yes partly but if they do they Make bad decisions ( four years of this) Newman's run and refusal to handpass over, and either kick badly handpass poorly and have no composure eg Scott I think with that horrible check left foot kick after a mark a metre out. Also we have not recruited natural footballers but some from other codes.Thats why we don't have finishing skills. And the coach refuses to Change the players around much at all. Even though we only had 18 fit that is every reason to change say Daisy Cimniggham Newman etc. Mick is a fine young person and very good with the girls but his footy smarts in the Coaches box And recruiting Skilled football players are lacking.and hurting our results. Four years of the same is far more than ample proof a Change is needed.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Don't think a whole season will be written off yet but if this happens a review date will be mentioned for reconsideration depending upon state if the Beira, country and health most importantly at the time. Similsr to rain delays At cricket and wicket inspections.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
That is only opinion like 150,000 odd others but at the glass no water end! It may well be but Round 1 might be ok although if Pendlebury comes down with it Eddie will sacrifice heaven and earth plus more to endure no footy gies ahead!

What Q and A ?

Jake Lever - Our next captain?
Agree Lucifer

AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
Maybe that had something to do with 2 injured players off the ground in the last half And about 4 ACL injuries this season !
-
AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
Mickey at least 3 times per year every year fir 4 years in a row!! We are too dependent upon forwards marking as skill to kick goals on run us almost impossible for us !
-
AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
Again our old nemesis our forward line conversion and skill For the umpteenth time has enough chances but lack skill in finishing Please Melb recruit footballers not other players from other codes that MAY be good sports but don't have the footballers instincts. Desperately need a skilled forward who gets 6 touches and 3 goals Cunningham lucky to be on team as no other big forward Give her a run around Th r ground yo get into the game please Mivk Stinnear must surely be coaching fir his job in the last 2 games as he has had 4 years of non success to make finals Injuries have not hrlped ageing today but same old story of lost chances.

Coronavirus Mini Draft
What did they do during the Second World War? Some Clubs missed out due to ground unavailability and personnel. Has any one ever questioned the 1941-45 flags as not authentic? Quite frankly the 2006 ( and possibly the 92 and 94 flags ) of the Eagles might be challenged due to drug issues and even the Cats 07 and 09 with Dank around. This is a real life experience and to try and equalise etc. is being too precious.Treat the Covid-19 as an injury and Clubs accept the consequences. Points would be awarded for lack of a team Numbers availability. Play on and the Bombers survived in 2016 and with AFL financial help The 18 teams can be resumed in 2021 when the Pandemic has disappeared. in the meantime if we win the flag I would not care one iota if no Pies Eagles Tigers Dons or Hawks we're not involved or compromised due to the circumstances.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Reckon the AFL would own up or ever admit culpability?

TEAM TO PLAY WEST COAST
A much better summary of my post on Hore recently Thoroughly agree and believe Lockhart and Rivers will be In our defence of the next decade By the end of the season.
-
TEAM TO PLAY WEST COAST
Iggest problem he is neither good enough for the tall position (third) or quick enough fir the small position minding either. is intercept and Lever is that alone. Marty is depth but Rivers IMO should be given an opportunity to commence his career at HBF for us, especially if his Casey form is good. Just the same Locky should be in our 22 as his playing style gives us run and carry and disposal. By end of season I will be surprised if both these players are locked in our best 22 and our defence is one of the best in the AFL.
