I am supremely confident that In Finals at the G we will beat Power Cats and Lions but fear Dogs and Swans. we may be lucky not to have to play Swans any way or at the SCG as my time due to Covid (Struggled with ground dimensions etc vs Pies IMO on QB) and Dogs are dangerous because of their game plan and all out attack which needs a healthy score yo best on occasions. Our pressure vs them is ( as against all teams) not negotiable. Plenty of chances for upsets with the Saints Freo snd Bombers all capable of beating Dogs Lions Cats and Power but not Swans on their last 2 rounds form.

Problem is Sam just does not get enough of the ball in the AFL. Seems to enjoy that second ruck and floating game in 2's bit like Jacko's role. And also his accuracy and depth of his kicking is a bit if a myth at the moment in the AFL. Benny was a good start and will hit scoreboard and he needs a good defender ( No 1) on him due to his size and skills.

AF great point and exactly what I have been saying to other Dees fans it's the extra attention that BBB will need because if his presence, size plus his ability to hit the scoreboard. I have come to the conclusion that Weed if given a ruck role and a roaming forward approval he would probably provide a good foil. BUT as a stay at home mostly insignificant and with not much real body strength contesting forward battles he does not have the same impact for the opposition ( or us) as BBB provides. BBB has the spot and it's his to lose but I don't think that will happen.

You would never ever expect anything other than what Angus is doing coming from his exceptional Brayshaw family background. He is a most underrated player on the wing and knits up the defence and forward line well with tough competitive football which helps our team keep control on the non Langers wing. Can't remember any game this year our wings have been beaten (except Vs Pies) badly. Plus we can play Angus at HB or on the forward line or on the ball if need be also. Champion human being is Gus much like Previous Capt. Jack Trengove.

And BBB genuinely needs a No 1 defender on him which means that Tmac Maxy Fritta and Jacko are left with 2 3 and 4 defenders!!! Thinking about Weed he likes to move around more and as second ruck / Ruck rover he gets involved nicely in the play. He could be a Jacko replacement if needed rather than a static KPF that clogs up the system and puts pressure on himself and others.

Think it's also his style in the the plays his role at the moment without fuss. Reckon he will be marking a lot more hopefully like he did against the Dogs in the last quarter. Old school and reliable Harry. Suits us just fine!

Not this year Harry P is going along great guns and knows how to be a defender. Have liked HP since I first watched his highlight reel when first drafted. JTaylor another bow please! PS Reckon mid year recruit Daniel Turner will also be a a ripper. Maybe the heir apparent to Maysie once the best in the business retires. (Hopefully never) Just watch his highlights reel and agsin I say it there is a definite feel of the Mitch McGoverns in him! JT again ( watch this space)
