We need Jacko to do 2nd tuck duties refer Last week vs Ssints.
-
Win against GWS and another 5/10,000 through the gate vs Cats !!!
-
Agree OD Tommy is more versatile and moves around and is hard to stop being in the game!
-
Then he went forward late ( belatedly By Simon ) and Has been averaging about 4 shots for goal per game. IMO that's his position to score gaols for us and needs to solve his accuracy issues pronto. We need Every born forward up front to hurt the opposition.
-
Agree she has changed our season results from the centre!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT

Big call but Kossie could even be the best by the time he pulls stumps. If that's the case we may see a medallion or two around his neck at the lend of the season. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT

And the good thing was that the Saints had no one to stop Kossie in full flight!!! -
What use us a sensible guess ? We don't know so move on.

As well as Fritsch LJ instead of Weid.
-
Not even a like for like player. Fritta is a medium with many skills not kicking ATM and Sam is one dimensional forward marker who can ruck a bit. That's why I like LJ instead as he is more versatile and will learn quickly .

Totally agree Bayley is still my first choice for our top goal kicker in 2021. BUT he must solve his goal kicking YIPS. I believe it is mostly in the head but an expert could examine things like ball drop and preferred angle of each side of the forward line to kick from. He could also help himself by leading within a 45 m arc of the centre of the goal square on the goal line. As a last resort yes he may need to d hi back to Casey if it's not solved or improved by half way Through the year. It is deflating as his marking ball getting snd skills are essential for our forward line to go to another level. Melksham is NOT a replacement for Bayley On many fronts. Here's hoping ...

Great Clubs haven't won flags in years with top goal kickers a spread is ideal so Jontee look at the records!
-
You say others can do his work then say oh about 95%. So untrue about 75% is all a player can do of Clarries footy that's why he is elite.! Deserves with Trac the highest $ to stay.
-
Clubs can pay $1mill average over 5 years by back ending a contract.
-
Mental Demons is well named. Dont pay any attention To him he hates Jacko And wants him out if the side snd traded at the end of the year. Total rubbish his posts.
-
While much of your post is common sense let's not complicate the game too much. Goals are scored in many ways and Teams have to be aware of all opportunities to create scores and not to me too one dimensional. We are starting to get some forward grunt through talls and smalls and reaping the rewards on the scoreboard is still to be fully claimed. Dees are a work in progress as we are hell bent on 2018 again with a more mature list. Only time will tell how far we progress but the signs are good so far. Go Dees we are all behind you.

Melk has got to Get the ball first then deliver it. Last year didn't try at all so no change
-
No mention of Bowey Laurie or Deakyn Smith but Majak kicked a couple I believe, There is a post in this D/L forum of Casey vs North Melbourne.
-
Very arguable improvement maybe Hibbo but no one deserves to be dropped especially for Melky.
-
Melky did not help last year Hibbo was good but injury and form and new faces are all facts of footy life. We must pick on form and new game plans plus new players ie Jordan, Sparrow FullY deserve their spots and have added different choices in style in our midfield. Now ANB and Pickett are also doing cameos to add to our depth. Spargo Hunt Jetta Jones Rivers and even Brayshaw all contributed well enough to hold their spots. Let's not regard stats like this as the Sole controller of selection if there are reasons for variations which will improve the team and Keep evolving in an attempt to win the Holy Grail. ( Hi Doggies 2016). I do recognise the value of maturity that say Trac Salem and Lever bring now and others do there is a natural progression in creating a list For success. We are potentially closer now than 2018 but I firmly believe that some heroes of 2018 are not shoe ins for the next Finals tilt or Substantial era of success For our next flag. For example Bowey or Jetta ? Hibbo or Rivers ? Rosman or Jonesy On a wing ? Melksham or Chandler or Laurie. LJ or Daw? A mix of each group as indicated is fine and our 22-27 group are our greatest strength who should lead the charge with others from each group more subject to form and development and experience as a qualification for a spot.

"next week" so after 2 good games Hibbo and Melk are just placed into the team to give us a premiership formula??? I understand the figures but it's about the story behind them and the unique ability to play as a team. Right now We are teaming together and a very even contribution from all was the result and rewarded us with a Score that flattered the result, it will come. No Change except the med sub. Maybe Petty this round.

Logan MAC is not to my knowledge a ruckman. You are comparing an Orange with a cumquat !!! What matters is that LJ contributes to the team rucking, up forward in team play, and around the ground as he did on Sat with 4 marks. He is learning on the job and had his season shortened by half last year so needs more games in an important ruck role. He will pay us off in spades in due course up forward as well but he must improve his kicking also.
-
Your post is confusing pairing them off against each other Some of which I don't agree with. But you only came up with 2 positions for talls not 3 !! Name the 6 or 7 forwards in the 22 please. BBB and T Mac can play in same side plus Jacko running around 2nd rucking and Bailey the fourth person plus smalls. Weid is in the mix but Tmac brings a much more rounded game and competitiveness To our side plus he can play at CHB !
-
LJ is getting judged harshly He was very competitive in the ruck and that coincided with our run of goals ( coincidence or both Maxy and LN around the ground) LJ took 3/4 marks around the ground and is not a ruck Pushover by any means. Fits in dies team things but yes does need to work on his kicking which no doubt he is by Choco.
