Italy will beat England in the final. Not sure what that means for us :(

Trade Targets
whatever it is, they'll come out laughing considering JUH was gifted to them.

TICKETING: Rd 16 vs GWS
Imagine they'll wait until midweek announcement re: restrictions easing before tickets go on sale. either way imagine there will be an increase in attendance and given the fact its GWS we should all be sweet.

Best highlight of last night's game!
It's an interesting one, i've been to 8 games this year and it's the first time opposition fans have interacted with me in a negative manner after the game. I was leaving the G alone and had several unprovoked comments directed at me by Essendon fans 'How much did you pay the umpires?" "Free Kick Melbourne" "Have you seen the police anywhere? The Bombers just got robbed" "Go to the snow" "Can't wait until you lose again" Like they were all harmless comments overall, but in the 7 other games I've been to, nothing said to me but somehow from leaving the ground to the corner of Bridge/Punt I copped 5 random comments aha Had lovely opposition fans next to me in certain games (Hawks/Saints) and had very civil conversations with them during the game about the state of play etc.

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Hi @Kick_It_To_Pickett - yes I misread about Saturday Re: Visitor tickets and as i posted yesterday "I stand corrected", but my initial point was about provisional members being valued less than Visitors. this was originally the case for Friday Night's game where Visitor Passes were being sold but provisional members did not have an entitlement to attend. Saw plenty of comments from Provisional Members on social media complaining about this and the MCC has since allowed Provisional members to attend that game - but not sure if that is due to low sales or the negative feedback. Either way hope as many of the Demonland faithful can get to the game this week. All the best

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
ah i stand corrected! I thought they could buy 1 visitor ticket. Hopefully you'll get to the next game easy.
-
TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Somehow ranked beneath a visitor's pass of a Full/Restricted Member. Don't think any visitor passes should have gone on sale FWIW

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
MCC said they members reserve would be at a capacity of 25% the website says the capacity of the Mcc is just under 23,000 So using rough numbers a little under 5750.

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
What is the capacity of level 4 anyway? I am sure $ plays a part to do with it, but imagine contract tracing easier if one area is blocked off as such. When I was at the cricket, I saw some bloke hop over the fence in level 4 of the members and then out the other end. He basically went scoreboard to scoreboard to change seats/meet people – would have crossed numerous zones in doing so.

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Got my MCC too. I was still waiting to hear back from someone if he could go, but come 3pm it was every man for himself and i am now going alone aha.

COVID & AFL 2021
Seems AAMI Park has got the go ahead for 50% for the AL Grand final, but that is ~15,000 people. Either way, hoping to be back shortly.

TICKETING: Rd 15 vs Essendon
6000 MCC spots, will be quite the battle getting one. Wonder when they'll go on sale.

Gary Pert Mid-Season Update
Agreed best to write off, especially heading into pointy end of the season. Sad but these are not normal times.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Disappointing day, flat all over the place and delivery into the f50 was poor. At the end of the day people were speculating what round Goodwin would lose his job this season, we’re going into the bye with 2 losses Little rest and hopefully a kick Up the backside for the players. Get Viney and BBB into the team and we go again.

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Yeh not the worst idea, I mean other players have had lots of Burgo experience both during last season and the off season, BBB a year behind some of them and also missed time off with knee injury. The way we are running out games, I am happy to trust the Football Department when it comes to fitness/sports performance. Once his fitness reaches the next level i have no doubt he will explode.

Also a little confused why a 25 year old Langdon is being talked about being replaced, made me feel real old aha

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
I guess it was a bit of a Stretch to think they were related.

Nathan Buckley Steps Down as Collingwood Coach
Nathan Buckley is poised to step down as coach of Collingwood, midway through his 10th season at the helm of the Magpies. Buckley was expected to tell the football department and players of his decision on Wednesday morning, ending months of speculation about his position. Sources said it was most likely Buckley would finish up after coaching the club against Melbourne on Queen’s Birthday but The Age has not confirmed whether that will be his last game. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/nathan-buckley-to-step-down-as-collingwood-coach-20210609-p57zd3.html

2021 Indigenous Guernsey
ITS BACK! EDIT: I HAVE ONE ON PRE-ORDER

Blues Blues
Fascinating isn't it. You'd assume a coach would want to appoint his own backroom staff, but somehow he's been attached to several coaches who ultimately got the sack.

Welcome back to Demonland: Tayla Harris
Take a chance, players can turn form around. Who knows what the $ will be, but definitely some marketing opportunities arising from a trade too.
-
My Demon Speedsters
Looking at those Brisbane game stats, i'd definitely be hiring someone to walk around and write down everything Burgo says and does word for word aha.

Membership 2021
How many of you have taken up the GFG? Made a joke about the itchy trigger finger at the start of May, I can tell you right now the SAFETY is off.

Rating 2021 team Against 1998, 2000 & 2018
Mate sent me a similar message after the Brisbane game, we're both mid 30s and he said it's the Best Melbourne team we've seen in our lifetime, have to agree with him. Footy has changed a little so hard to compare BUT we're 11-1 and should really be 12-0, so hard to argue against that point

2021 Injury List
Viney injury not ideal, but at 10-1, no point rushing him back which could potentially be to his detriment. Don't mind the cautious approach, but as @Lord Nev said - injuries are complicated - esp. Feet.
