  1. By the time the 2019 season is over this thread will be longer than the one Jesse Hogan had
  2. On a side DB joined Arsenal in July 2017; Wilkshere missed 1 game (Community Cup) for Arsenal that season injury from a hairline fracture that occurred the season before when he was on loan at Bournemoth. The 17/18 Season was actually pretty good for him injury wise. 38 appearances across all the competitions (Missed some games for non selection/on the bench etc). Following year he moved to West Ham and missed 30 games combined due to injury. Maybe DB does have the midas touch! anyway he's highly regarded, if we're building talent on the pitch it needs to be protected. for whatever reason, the medical department may or may not have shot themselves in the foot a few times in recent times. Need club-wide review and subsequent improvements (if warranted) on and off pitch to continue quest for success.
  3. Do not like articles like this Why trading Angus Brayshaw could fix Melbourne's midfield https://www.espn.com.au/afl/story/_/id/26952749/why-trading-angus-brayshaw-fix-melbourne-midfield Don't want to lose Helmet
  4. Backline sorting itself out to make us a unit in 2020. Jayden Hunt being leading goal scorer at the end of the season. Beating Cartlon
  5. Last year we just bombed it into the F50 and had success. There isn't really a change to the game plan but we're sitting at 3-9. How has it become so inefficient so quickly?
  6. it's almost as if Frost's body is quicker than his brain, you never know what he's going to do next. Truly an excitement machine. Speed is a weapon worth retaining though.
  7. Just in relation to the final few minutes, was that Lockhart kick too far for him to kick (uncertain of his attributes still). Just found it interesting he slotted it off to Melksham; was that purely to buy time or due to his kicking ability.
  8. His immediate post game interview didn't fill me with a lot of confidence. Want to see him in the team each week eating people
  9. Had ALMOST forgot about that game, thanks for the reminder
  10. Fair play, i know it's a different sport but Romelu Lukaku (Manchester United) made some interesting comments late last year. Said his initial patchy season form was due to the fact he was too bulked/muscly for the World Cup and struggled when returning to quicker paced EPL. All the sports science in the world and they still get certain things wrong. Curious to know what sort of pre-season program the trac was on
  11. For those that are saying Petracca is out of shape, do you mean fat or he's bulked too much muscle in the wrong areas?
  12. The best part about the game is the person next to me gave me a free donut. We called the game the 'Clint Bizzell Cup". Won't be going to Geelong again in a hurry though, such a weird atmosphere to watch games too.
  13. Need to sit down some players and show them some Matty Whelan clips aha
  14. MCC predicting 40,000 for the game. Nice weather, us on the way up - going with 42,151
  15. How do you think Kent & Tyson will go this year at their new clubs? Like to keep an eye on those we discard
  16. Scenes when OMac bags his first though.
  17. I'm a Restricted Member of the MCC, won't be a Full member for at least another 6-7 years. In the event that MFC make a Grand Final i'd have no chance through the MCC - would need to rely on MFC/MCC (Premium) with Grand Final Add on. (Also get the 3xGuest Pass for selected games (have these been announced?) and a Young Demon membership, just need to find a young demon ahah. ) $545 (MCC Restricted Membership) $219 (MFC/MCC Premium Membership) $229 (Grand Final Guarantee) So In essence that's a $448 'donation' on top of $545 for the chance to buy a GF ticket - Not that I'd be complaining if it occurred!
  18. Last time I saw someone with the surname Hore run across the MCG it ended in tears
  19. Who's up for some philosophical discussions about the NIETSCHKE drafting?
  20. Would have liked a better deal but it is what it is. We're pushing for the flag, if this chain-reaction helps claim a flag then overs/unders can be ignored. He's had a rough run, so all the best to Hoges over there, looking forward to a solid Melbourne back-line shutting him out.
  21. Exactly. We've been the butt of jokes for many years, let's not turn on each-other.
  22. like a bull at a gate when he came back into the team. Very glad he has signed on.
