this is what I do too, never had an issue.

You'd assume he means Trac/Gawn/Oliver May. Have no qualms saying 4 in the best 50 but seeing May didn't even make 40 man AA squad (STILL AN UNJUST OVERSIGHT THAT MUST BE AVENGED) a bit too hard to argue.

there's a joke floating around that goes along the lines of Arteta can couch but has no money; Lampard has money but can't coach; Then there's Ole who has no money and can't coach. Ultimately, I think Lampard won't get the best out of the squad. I'm no Chelsea fan but that front 4 (when fit and all available) is worthy of a title challenger. I know Leicester a bit of an abnormality but they had a solid and not spectacular backline when they won the league. A back line of Chilwell Zouma Silva James is solid enough, give them time to gel - esp with the new keeper. it's been a crazy season so far, long may it continue - very hard to predict.

3 years is over the top but probably required to get him here. I assume the 3rd year would be on less coin either way.

What do we think will happen to Mitch Brown?

SEN reporting Carlton are "keen" on De Goey and have room for one more big name after Williams and Saad. What an efficient period that may be for them if they can get them all over the line. Although i am sure it would create some cap issues. Hopefully we can pull off another missing piece of the puzzle this period. Which teams below us on the ladder are you most worried about for 2021?

https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/824053 He's back!

He also looks like he belongs in Brunswick.

You'd imagine GWS would "want" him the most given the list they have. Sure the other clubs would want a #1 ruck but further away from the "window"

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
roy11 replied to Dee tention's topic in Melbourne Demons
Essendon? Dees? Bulldogs? Pies? Hawks? Essendon probably got the most $ to throw esp with Saad/Danniher on the way out. -
Good news, not sure about the 5th year but hopefully he proves me wrong. Happy he remains a demon for life.

Happy playing Tmac up forward if he gets his body right. If we're chasing goals late in a game dont mind switching him and May who can use his strength etc.

https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/10/01/melbourne-defender-expected-to-depart-club/ Article by Sam Edmund about Oscar Likely leaving. has the below on Tom "Oscar’s brother Tom McDonald has also been the subject of trade speculation, but is set to stay at Melbourne where he still has two years to run on a contract. It’s believed Tom has vowed to change his body shape in a bid to recapture the form as a key forward that helped the Demons make the 2018 preliminary final. In an attempt to add strength and avoid getting pushed off the ball, he lost his athleticism and gut-running ability to get up and back. He will now work to strip weight over summer."

Result/Performances aside he's played in a Grand Final, the furthest any of our crop have gone! He didn't really impact games at GWS, just plays his part. We're shambolic in a shambolic year, i'll hold all my judgment off until 2021 is completed.

@DeeSpencer Would you call Tomlinson an update on Frost/OMac at least?

The bumping of this thread made me concerned he had made the decision to leave

Well we are after a big bodied forward who can score?

Crows Attempting to Poach Darren Burgess

I always assumed Burgo wanted 1 year to keep his options open, not sure if he wanted to return to European football etc. Hoping he is not lost -
wonder if it was a laconic hit and run

Crows Attempting to Poach Darren Burgess
roy11 replied to YesitwasaWin4theAges's topic in Melbourne Demons
When he was announced the club said "MELBOURNE has recruited world renowned fitness expert Darren Burgess to oversee the club’s fitness and medical program for the 2020 season." If we lose Burgo before we can take advantage of his skills with the normal length games/season i will go outside and scream obscenities into the air -
That was my rationale too. Although questions are out some of the long term futures of the names listed
