  1. Probably the wrong thread for it, but with the extra spot on the bench, wonder how many coaches will have an big fella there
  2. If we sign this lad, cant write to post about him on the Dmnlnd.cm/frm
  3. playing alongside the younger forwards will take pressure off them and as said before they might learn a thing or 2. We have a decent amount of young fellas (JvR, Jeffo, Kentfield) - will they all make it? TBC But this might help them, so a stop-gap option. Also having a good fwd will assist the mids find their groove.
  4. Him and Melky can help teach the younger brigade on the field. Petty can go back. Low risk move
  5. Whether it works or not, re-signing NAS and Windhager... adding TDK, Silvani, Aleer....going for Ryan etc On the face of it they definitely 'seem' more ambitious than a club who seemingly want to take a step backwards to move forward. I think its ultimately wont achieve much but at least theyre trying something.
  6. Welcome that pick to Melbourne then?
  7. Bit selfish from him, i wont be on my computer all day tomorrow
  8. Sad how its worked out, but much better seeing him in a GWS top than Geelong.
  9. At least the Oliver thread can get back on Trac
  10. Carlton also just got Pick 19 compo for SOS and assume they get Pick 9 Compo for TDK and if they do cash in on Curnow - Will have the ammo
  11. Petracca aside, not sure any of them really stood up last year to have us really concerned about their absence
  12. The 2025 Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period will start on Monday, October 6 and run until Deadline Day on Wednesday, October 15. Plenty of time to smash F5
  13. This has been me the last few days.
  14. Well yes, we were our own worst enemy a little but it didnt happen at the same time
  15. I jokingly said I'd turn off the GFG, which I have done for now. But you never know, we saw Adelaide jump from 15th to minor premiers (they did fizzle out though) Last time an expansion team came in it set us back a little, hoping we've learnt a bit from that.
  16. I'd like to get him, but if Essendon/Saints nab him, at least we can show an interest in that first round pick in the Trac deal.
  17. "The 28-year-old Norm Smith medallist met with the Gold Coast on Thursday after both the Demons and Petracca decided he should explore his options during the trade period." He's de-aging now he wants to leave
  18. Curious if Carlton do trade Curnow what picks they'd have to throw at BH. Whats BH worth in a trade anyway?
  19. Would love to see this happen, but not sure how many recruitment fights we’ll win with Collingwood and Carlton in the battle
  20. So Geelong possibly adding Worpel, Oliver, Curnow and Marshall to the list, not a bad off-season for them.
  21. List Manager Tim Lamb said it was a good opportunity to sit down with Oliver alongside new Senior Coach Steven King and outline the club’s plans. “Today was a good chance to sit down with Clayton and share how Steven and the coaches see the game being played, and where the opportunities lie for him,” Lamb said. “We were upfront with Clayton around the role he is likely to play next season and the need for him to develop his craft beyond the midfield to have his biggest impact within the team. “It was honest and respectful, and Clayton is now clear on what we see his role being next year, and how we think he can best contribute. “Clayton is contracted for another five years. If he wants to explore his options in the upcoming AFL Trade Period, we will respect that. Should he remain in the red and blue, we will of course continue to support and embrace him as part of our club.” Develop his craft beyond the midfield - wonder what they're wanting from him from a positional POV
  22. Hopefully this is the last year of friends asking "what's going on at Melbourne?"
  23. Seemingly moving on from this
  24. Might be time to turn that Grand Final Guarantee off.
  25. Yeh its a bit bonkers, but i think timing aligns with King officially starting tho
