  1. Not sure we'll see too much of him when McVee/Kolt/X back. He's been serviceable but was a ghost last night
  2. Onya. Please report back, hopefully with a positive review
  3. Given they have 2 F/S picks and a NGA in the next draft, will curious to see how they approach their list/additions/departures this year.
  4. I know Stats don't tell the entire picture but his kicking efficiency so far this season is 59%, his career average is 56.2%. Will watch him with particular focus tonight.
  5. Clarry an interesting one, racked up 30+ disposals in the last 2 games without really imposing himself on the game. Hoping they both have blinders tonight
  6. Trac started brightly with 6 coaches votes in Round 1 but he is down on some career averages. I dont think Clarry has been that bad, collectively our midfield/gameplan struggles has made them look worse individually.
  7. Seems the robot did it's part but the humans did not perhaps
  8. They need something to talk about Step 1 - Nonsense Filler Step 2 - Weekend Games Step 3 - Fall out from Games Step 4 - Return to Step 1
  9. Tipping related - on the AFL website 2% of people have tipped Melbourne, assume all 2% are Melbourne supporters (myself included) Deelusional?
  10. Arsenal also have too many defensive midfielders and can struggle to create at times if their sole creative midfielder is having an off day. They also don't have a prolific Centre-Forward. Familiar scenes
  11. Still curious if theyd consider M.Reid and a nice Pick for Kozzie.
  12. Just depressingly from a short term POV, we could be 0-5 by the time they're all back in the team. (Also could be 2-3 etc but I am scared and sad etc)
  13. Good thing i'm not on a Manchester Untied forum as well tbh
  14. Smart to send it before we play down in Geelong though aha
  15. McVee a big out for this reason, hopefully Miers/Stengle dont have a field day.
  16. Agreed his form hasn't been ideal, but even last week he could have kicked a couple of goals, still had a decent amount of score involvements etc. Not sure a spell in the 2s will get him to drastically change the way he plays the game, as frustrating as that may be for some. He'd go down to Casey kick a bag and then come back the same player.
  17. at least he can't kick it to himself at every opportunity like the rest of the team do.

Me watching our midfield the last 2 weeks Somebody's gotta set the tone out there boys, somone's gotta F-word set it!
  19. The article does say that a lot of hawks are over performing their contract value.
  20. On the flip side, he kept getting the ball to be tackled. Not sure if it is a communication issue or him not being up to the speed/intensity of the adult game, this will improve. Would like to see him get a few tackles as well. He may not be the quickest, just need to compliment him with players with different skill sets.
  21. in Jones' defence, whilst he may be the midfield coach, we don't know how much autonomy/direction he has for the role. But we've gone from a contested beast to 16th in tackles which is sad and 18th in clearances. Is it older legs, have they lost the spring in their step?
  22. Re Butters: Multiple club sources have confirmed Hawthorn, Richmond, Essendon and Collingwood are all preparing to make serious plays for the 24-year-old, who grew up in Bacchus Marsh and played under-18 football for the Western Jets. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/this-port-star-is-contracted-until-the-end-of-2026-but-victorian-clubs-are-already-circling-20250331-p5lnz8.html Doesn't look great for us then.
  23. Think twice we've been burnt by early injuries possibly messing up plans for returning players. Round 2 - Jeffo injury in first quarter meant Woey came on and Spargo had to play a full game Round 3 - XL injury after 2 minutes meant Melksham had to come on and basically play a full game It seems the MFC way is getting minutes into players in the first team, but it's sort of backfired a little the last 2 weeks - especially games where we've run out of legs in the final quarter.
  24. Reckon a dozen is an understatement for 2025 tbh
