  2. MELBOURNE has made two changes to its AFL list, informing Josh Schache and Kyah Farris-White they will not receive a contract for the 2025 season. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1640448/melbourne-farewell-duo-of-talls/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR1gixR6P2Msis3OINh5HXOdV7bLfCR3ZeYlbH3mRPizY52z6Hzz6RfJgbI_aem_wYhaS_lz5igwdrLqXWZN1g
  3. Zero - Onya Girls!
  4. Some of the decisions and execution towards the end of our transitional play Friday night was diabolical. Laurie definitely not alone there. It's not surprising we struggled on Friday given no Trac, Oliver, Sparrow, Spargo, Windsor (and Brayshaw), the depth players will struggle to cover that in the middle of the ground. Even if Laurie is not Best 22 in Season2025 i still think he's adequate depth. I don't think he'll get a consistent run of games with us and probably will be a depth player, which all clubs need.
  5. I haven't really been partaking in this but interesting to see Judd @ that position. SEN were predicting Top 3 B&Fs for each club and had this for the Dees Johnson’s Top 3 1 - Max Gawn 2 - Jack Viney 3 - Judd McVee Johnson: “I think Gawn is the number one, then you go to Viney. “Third is tough. I’ve put Judd McVee there, suggestions around Alex Neal-Bullen. “Gawn and Viney sum up one and two potentially.” Cornes: “Gawn has six All-Australians and two best and fairests. His resume is building.”
  6. To be fair I dont think the comment re: costs was too deceitful. They email said; The club will now seek recovery of its legal costs from Mr Lawrence And thats what they'll be seeking whether by negotiation with Mr Lawrence or through Submissions to the Court.
  7. To be fair, i don't think there's been that much cheerleading in this thread. There's a longstanding thread about training grounds where displeasure is often raised about the lack of action from the board. So there is criticism of the board on here, some may not delve too deep into the regulatory side of things - I'll read the judgment on this particular matter over the weekend to get a better understanding. Only defending i will do is I think Kate Roffey got some unnecessary criticism on here for not talking about Petracca -I don't think she really needs to comment about click bait journalists, she's clearly got more important and pressing tasks to deal with.
  8. That's still more than I thought given its our home game and a deadrubber.
  9. All litigation is energy sucking. Doing real President things, we dont need to hear from her about Christian Petracca.
  10. Again I am offering the chance to anyone to buy me a drink.
  11. I asked ChatGPT for a list and it included this; Darren Jarman: Known for his explosive pace and goal-scoring ability, Jarman was a standout forward for Melbourne in the 1990s.
  12. Thanks for the service fella Curious how the forward line will go under a new line-coach, guess we'll find out one way or another where the issue is located
  13. See you there 'landers
  14. To be fair, if Max was ever involved in a trade situation they could probably get away with a headline of Max Gawn?
  15. Short but sweet, what a man!
  16. All depends if anyone else is interested, happy for him to stick around another year so we can focus on other areas with drafts/trades.
  17. This makes it sounds like we have one moonboot at the club
  18. There needs to be a good face palm and a bad face palm reaction for posts like this.
  19. Kalani more like Kala-knee
  20. Would love to see Bbb get a send off game but don’t see it happening unfortunately. A great man off the pitch and a flag winner. Hopefully he stays involved with the AFLW team for a while but understand he lives on the other side of town
  21. It makes sense for Petracca to to keep a low profile until the season is over. Him being there may have looked good for a club perspective but also could have been a media distraction both parties wanted to avoid.
  22. The reports of our death are greatly exaggerated
