Farewell Judd McVee
More like Judge McMee. I'm here all week.

Well obviously they're the more important ones, but Ghosty just had a convo with Kolt so thought that was fitting to check in on him

Please continue to share information that you receive, understand things change and the like but it's always interesting to read. Not to entirely de-rail the thread, but on the topic of young WA players at our club, Kolt seemingly settled here? Not a flight risk?

Farewell Judd McVee
That's fair, I was just looking at their list and trying to see if there was a realistic add-on that could be included. Thought at his age and as a Victorian he could be one to consider. I don't mind him, tackles and runs hard. Would be an upgrade on Spargo but both need to score more goals.

Really? He's 29 in a few months.

Farewell Judd McVee
If its Pick 29 which will slide out, would it a bit more pleasant if they threw in someone like Sam Switkowski

Is there any realistic player we can acquire from them as part of a deal?

Facebook memories may or may not have shown a video of me dancing around in my living room drinking bubbles straight from a bottle.

Yep agreed some of our $ list decisions have been a bit self-defeating in the long run, its left Lamb boxing with one arm tied behind his back in terms of trying to bring in talent.

It doesn't but if its 2+1, who knows what the triggers are.

But if he's getting more money elsewhere that's not necessarily Lamb's fault

Think it's a little poignant for Goody to be saying this all now. Also whilst we're reflecting on Goody, on this day in 2021 we won the flag, and for that Goody will always be a Demon legend.

- 2025 Brownlow Medal
And in another article, another reference to the 2nd highest rated player on the ground (Viney) getting 3 votes. If one game summed up the absurdity of the Brownlow Medal it was this. If one game alone can finally instigate a change to this award, it should be this.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I know theyre chasing a flag, might need to sacrifice something to try entice CP5 or a Curnow but surely it wouldnt be BH- 2025 Player Reviews: #44 Luker Kentfield
Here is hoping he hasnt walked under any ladders or jinxed himself at all, a proper pre-season and who knows where 2026 will take him.- Sam Flanders
Don't they want Liam Ryan too? Marshall out, Wilkie to follow?- 2025 Brownlow Medal
There's an article on FoxSports at the moment Lists 4 Games where Rowell gets Brownlow Votes and No Coaches Votes Lists 4 games where Anderson gets Coaches votes and no Brownlow Votes But then says It’s worth reminding ourselves through all of this that the Brownlow’s imperfections are what makes it so interesting. The umpires are a unique set of observers. And if the results just played out exactly as we expected, as if Champion Data was handing out the votes, it’d be pretty damn boring. It’s still worth noting that Rowell in this circumstance is a strange winner - he was fifth-favourite to win the medal, and had it clinched with three games left. That’s really weird! Not as weird as Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera not polling the three votes for the game he single-handedly won against Melbourne, though. That was the worst decision in Brownlow history and if you’re gonna review the voting system, THAT decision is why.- 2025 Brownlow Medal
Have definitely noticed an improvement since King was appointed, not only just in output but in terms of the content. Seemingly going down the GWS/Hawthorn route of a little jokey. And social media is all about reactions/shares/comments and the like, so the less dry at times the better.- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford

Agreed NWM deserved the 3 votes but some of the comments ive seen online make it seem like this was the most egregious moment of the night, at the end of the day the 2nd highest rated player that game got the 3 votes. There were games where Rowell/N Daicos polled when they had no right to, for me that's a lot worse than someone getting 2 votes when they deserved 3- Equalisation

Some of the criticism aimed at him above was similar to Chuck Spargo had - eg - average and not elite - not super quick- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Yes that's what the media do, but I'm not sure why it's so unrealistic to think a player who wanted to leave for various reasons (not disclosed publicly), may still want to leave. The way it played out last year was a debacle for all involved and IF nothing has changed then i'm sure all parties would want to ensure that it's not played out that public again. Only Christian himself can tell us if he wants to leave, and he won't do that - so we're left with a schrodinger's cat-like situation. No use beating ourselves up over it, just wait and see what eventuates. - 2025 Brownlow Medal
