  1. This has been me the last few days.
  2. Well yes, we were our own worst enemy a little but it didnt happen at the same time
  3. I jokingly said I'd turn off the GFG, which I have done for now. But you never know, we saw Adelaide jump from 15th to minor premiers (they did fizzle out though) Last time an expansion team came in it set us back a little, hoping we've learnt a bit from that.
  4. I'd like to get him, but if Essendon/Saints nab him, at least we can show an interest in that first round pick in the Trac deal.
  5. "The 28-year-old Norm Smith medallist met with the Gold Coast on Thursday after both the Demons and Petracca decided he should explore his options during the trade period." He's de-aging now he wants to leave
  6. Curious if Carlton do trade Curnow what picks they'd have to throw at BH. Whats BH worth in a trade anyway?
  7. Would love to see this happen, but not sure how many recruitment fights we’ll win with Collingwood and Carlton in the battle
  8. So Geelong possibly adding Worpel, Oliver, Curnow and Marshall to the list, not a bad off-season for them.
  9. List Manager Tim Lamb said it was a good opportunity to sit down with Oliver alongside new Senior Coach Steven King and outline the club’s plans. “Today was a good chance to sit down with Clayton and share how Steven and the coaches see the game being played, and where the opportunities lie for him,” Lamb said. “We were upfront with Clayton around the role he is likely to play next season and the need for him to develop his craft beyond the midfield to have his biggest impact within the team. “It was honest and respectful, and Clayton is now clear on what we see his role being next year, and how we think he can best contribute. “Clayton is contracted for another five years. If he wants to explore his options in the upcoming AFL Trade Period, we will respect that. Should he remain in the red and blue, we will of course continue to support and embrace him as part of our club.” Develop his craft beyond the midfield - wonder what they're wanting from him from a positional POV
  10. Hopefully this is the last year of friends asking "what's going on at Melbourne?"
  11. Seemingly moving on from this
  12. Might be time to turn that Grand Final Guarantee off.
  13. Yeh its a bit bonkers, but i think timing aligns with King officially starting tho
  14. Wonder how he feels about losing (what once was/could possibly be again) top end talent, he's locked himself away for a long time here.
  15. yeh change the hypothetical from entry concessions to the club itself. Jokes aside, will be interesting to see how they utilize that sign on bonus
  16. Hopefully shakes off the 2nd year blues, will be interesting to see where the King plays him
  17. Big ups to all involved behind the scenes on Demonland and also to all the posters, i don't have a lot of Melb supporting pals so enjoy coming here, even if the last little while has been a bit ...
  18. Will also stop me jeering bad bounces, which admittedly isn't entirely their fault.
  19. I think a lot of the bad taste is heavily influenced by our collective under performance. The What could have been vs what was.
  20. RIP The Bounce
  21. Yep we are slowly shifting away from a relatively one dimensional midfield.
  22. Did enjoy the fact the media was telling us to play new players in the midfield to try something new and when we did that they started questioning Trac's long term viability here.
  23. WEST Coast has been handed an end-of-first-round draft pick and four extra rookie list spots for the next three seasons in an assistance package from the AFL. Obviously slots us back one for our 2nd rounder and further dilutes any 2nd round Judd trade
