The Luke Beveridge Thread
Doggies fans think he is stubborn and some accuse of him of wasting a generational list, sounds familiar. Not sure Bevo would walk away from a team with Darcy in it though

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
Spargo had 2 GAs on the weekend. I'm happy for Hendo to be his understudy at present.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Henderson
I think he's still a decent squad based player, but hard to tell given everyone has been a bit toilet.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
be a little funny to award a VFL player after a bye though, 'body of work' i know and get but we continue to miss the mark (in all senses).

Time to go Goody?
I was happy to give Goody until the end of the season and approach calmly, but we're in danger of 1) having contracted players wanting to leave 2) scaring off Free Agents One way or another we need this performance rot to end immediately.

- Time to go Goody?
There is a small sample size of transitional play which look promising up until a bad kick inside the F50. Which seemingly may be a flaw with the plan given our list. But agreed - definitely some indecision on the players behalf when chipping the ball around, not sure who to kick to, not sure what to do themselves.- Time to go Goody?
Yep, Goodie did foresee some 'teething issues' with the new gameplan but some of the team stats have been confronting. We're not stagnant, we're going backwards. Add to that our midfield/forward connection has been stuffed for too long. If we were playing well and losing, you'd ride the storm. If we don't win I want us to be competitive or at least entertaining, and we've failed at that the last 15 games or so. Goodie deserves all his flowers for his efforts here, but I'm sure he'd realize there needs to be improvement and quick.- PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Interesting question, if there was a player dropped or a late out through injury that was meant to be celebrating a milestone match, what does the Demon Army do? @Ghostwriter- PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Any chance Fritta misses this week, saw he has a new born?- PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Last 2 games we've had injuries very early, so there is a risk to this strategy, especially with our 4th quarters so far this season.- The James Worpel Thread
Injurie aside, as others have mentioned they have a lot of players outperforming their contract values, so probably a wise decision from Hawthorn to hold back a little here- If we lose this week I will?
Turn my phone off to avoid social media and the 142 posts from the bombers fans I have on social media.- Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
This is popping into multiple sports these days. Players seemingly have more comradery these days and have a joke after a game (apart from Mac Andrew aha), doesnt always sit well with older players or fans.- 2025 MFC Injury List
Ankles are pesky beasts though. Speaking of old mate Tommo, think it was reported that collingwood are eyeing him up for the mid-season draft as a replacement for Reef McInnes- Go and Get JUH
a few "buyer bewares" on the lad - but expect him to turn his career around in Geelong, that's how it works isnt it? - Time to go Goody?
