Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
It's an interesting one given we have some young WA talent and KP but if you jump on the comment seection that facebook page Flagmantle it seems their fans think its fair to do Luke Jackson for Pickett and a first rounder. Freo have a few like Treacy and Murphy Reid i'd like to have a chat to. I'd rather retain Pickett but think that's wishful thinking at this stage

He's seemingly got away with it (again)- Hypotheticals on Tasmania entry concessions
afl.com.auTassie would be forced to trade SIX first-round picks as...Some of Tasmania's early draft picks would have to be traded under AFL proposalSome interesting proposals so far. Hopefully we're not cabbage in 2026.- NON-MFC: Round 09
Why do so many of these young fellas bounce the ball after 3-4 steps, seen our Langford do the same too. Just get in and run lads- CASEY: Rd 07 vs Footscray
So Laurie, Howes and AJ are the emergencies this week Seems at lest one (if not two) of them will have very limited game time seeing this kicks off at 11:05am in Footscray and we're on at 1:20 at the G- Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
How willing would Freo be to get rid of LJ when the other main ruck is injury prone and not that mobile, and on 1 mil a season.- Kayo is 4K in 2024
Stan edging close to buying EPL off Optus. But more interesting to see Stan (and Paramount) sniffing around the F1 who are in their final year of rights with Foxtel (who want to renew). AFL locked away Saturday fixtures behind Kayo, but Kayo could be losing content. Curious to see how that one plays out.- Media Madness
So just so we're clear. Player takes time off for mental health Media write 132 stories about said player President says leave him alone Media criticize President for criticizing media Media then promote Spud's Game, a game aimed at bringing awareness/funds towards mental health. Got it.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026

Gawn this morning on Radio “Clayton, there’s going to be stories about him until we are done,” Gawn said on Monday. “He made a very mature decision to spend the week off this week. It’s been a big eight weeks for him ... he felt like he was getting a bit overwhelmed and wanted a week off." “For his future, I am week by week with Clayton and the club. All I care is about him getting up for Hawthorn, doing it with a smile on his face, and whatever happens at the end of the year happens.” Gawn said he and his teammates would continue to support Oliver, not react to weekly news items, knowing any decisions made now “could change by August”. “I’ve lived with a lot of these stories. Some stay, some go,” he told Mick in the Morning on Triple M. “It’s all a beat-up in May. I could make a decision … that could change by August. The May story is really nothing. “I’m going to pretend it hasn’t been written. Nothing to see here. He’s coming over for a sauna tonight.” Oliver was given the rest after an “open dialogue” with the club but is expected to be available for this weekend’s clash with Hawthorn.- PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
some iffy ball work at times but plenty to build on, 4th most contested possessions, 2nd most tackles inside F50. If he sharpens up the disposals he'll be fine.- 2025 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Riddle me this demonlanders, I know some people argue about picking on best talent vs best option. If we're looking option wise, what type of player do we target with our first pick?- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Hmmm, may May play May 3rd? maybe? Maybe not, Mayday for May.- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Love Maysie but does appear that his body is failing him a little or he's being rushed back. Obviously isn't helped by Lever/Hore also being injured and Petty shifted forward (to some success) Maybe it's time to test JvR as a swingman as well?- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Agreed Howes the more likely, seems they're happy with Petty forward for now.- PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
Wishing clarry all the best. Thought we’d get Turner and Laurie in. Little perplexed but go team- Trade Targets
Re; Butters Saw an article that said the doggies were sniffing at 1.5M a year and 2-3 first rounders. Geelong waiting in the wings depending on Rowell/Oliver situations. Saints seemingly putting eggs in TDK and Leek Aleer baskets.- Tom McDonald re-signs for 2025
FEW DEFENDERS have been more reliable in defence this season than Tom McDonald. Anchoring the backline with his trademark grit and discipline, McDonald has stood out in key defensive stats this season—leading the competition in one percenters (55), a measure of the most selfless, team-first efforts on the ground. Digging deeper, McDonald ranks No.1 in the AFL for spoils (47), consistently getting a fist in to break up contests and shut down aerial threats. He’s also equal-first for contested defensive one-on-ones (24), winning the moments that matter most deep in defence. He’s climbed to 6th in the league for intercept possessions (53), highlighting his ability to read the play and turn defence into attack. It’s the type of form that doesn’t always make the highlight reel, but wins games. This season, McDonald moved into the top 10 on Melbourne’s all-time games list, surpassing Jeff White and further cementing his place in club history. His consistent output also has him closing in on a spot among the VFL/AFL’s all-time leaders for one percenters. It’s been a big year—and the numbers continue to prove it. Onya Tom- The Logan Morris Thread
Where does Key Forward even begin size wise, this lad is 3 cm taller than our medium forward Fritsch. Are we looking at a Fritsch (Out) Morris (In) situation? Don't know how i feel about this. One thing i can say with certainty is Morris does not have beautiful hair.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I don’t think I’m in denial— agree he’s lost some of his dynamism and that was part of his greatest weapons in the modern game. Could well be carrying too much weight inclusive of muscle. Just think phrases like 'fat' or 'footballing equivalent of fat' could be better phrased given he's had some weight issues previously in his life.- The Quarters Ladder
