  1. Agreed, that was a great post @Hannibal Inc.. I am not a smart person but am definitely jumping sides on a daily occurrence aha
  2. Ben Rutten will be an assistant coach at Richmond for the 2023 season. https://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/1221955/ben-rutten-returns-to-richmond
  3. 2 great years! 40 goals last year, 41 this year . Would hate for him to leave us, especially the way he tackles aha
  4. could be decent depth if one of Chandler/Bedford moved on?
  5. IF Kozzie was thinking about leaving, bringing a mate over might help.
  6. Bet Trac liked it, had him the same height as some of the big boys.
  7. Not a fan of the idea, too much manipulation of the salary cap. Even the current situations with Treloar and others don't sit exactly right with me
  8. Bit harsh given was one of our best players in a winning GF less than 12 months ag. Never really got going after that injury. Break and proper pre-season will do him good.
  9. Keen to pop down and check out the Tmac/JvR partnership. Feel sorry for Rosman having to miss with concussion protocols.
  10. I would definitely like a little more rotation next season. Was discussing the loss of Burgo with a pal on the weekend, it's obviously a loss as the man is talented but a little difficult to judge hard much much due to some factors including player injuries/playing cooked players. I understand the rationale was to keep sore players playing, but did we just have too many banged up players in 2022? Then again were they extra banged up cos no Burgo or just bad luck?
  11. Obviously a lot of doom and gloom on the forum which I can understand as the season didn't hit all the 'Pass Marks'. Just trying to isolate that to those threads and have at least one thread of positives such as Another great year for Clarrie Continued improvement of Harry Petty Another AA year for May Another solid year of goals for Fritsch/Pickett Form/Development of certain players at Casey, yes a little disappointing we didn't see more debuts in 2022 but imagine a few will be putting their hands up during 2023 pre-season Off the field we had contract extensions for Oliver and Brayshaw, broke our membership record, renewed some sponsorships
  12. Sounds like something Zorko would post....suspicious
  13. Will happily yell at the football and sit down during a Mexican wave.
  14. Rough luck with the Old Firm game. Already seen lots of people complaining about premier league games being cancelled but still having to go to work aha.
  15. the $5 booking thing is a scam i tells ya! Jokes aside, would love an 80 inch C1.
  16. GOOD! The only issue is this week Brisbane have no Big O so hopefully he isn't tempted to do it again
  17. Re; Spargo - Do you play him if he can't adequately communicate?
  18. Hopefully we don't cop too many of those 15 Thursday Night games. * from an attending POV, know it is good for the sponsors etc
  19. Didn't get out of work until close to 7 last Friday, that certainly didn't help my Gee'd upness aha.
  20. How easy is it to target the fibula though? If the club are happy letting him play soccer (lots of shin on shin impact) with no shinpads then they must not be too worried about it.
  21. Prelim being a pass about right, especially given how equal the comp is this year/the fact we have a horrible record against the top 4 and had some forward-line issues at stages this season. That being said, anything can happen in finals footy, need everyone to stand up and we can still cause some damage. Either way 2023 will be exciting - have some time to rectify some forward line issues (fit again TMAC, young JvR debuting, maybe another forward brought in) and we should be ready go give it another shot.
  22. Not sure if this has been posted but Gary Ayres Award (Best Finals Player) voting from the Game 10 - Steven May 8 - Luke Parker 3 - James Rowbotton 3- Jake Lloyd 3- Clayton Oliver 3- Callum Mills
  23. a jigsaw puzzle completed by having all the right pieces (at the time). Sliding doors we'll never know but can't begrudge any move that helped us break the drought.
  24. Oh totally, understand a player will do/say what he can to play a final, weigh up risk vs reward. I'm no medical practitioner but from what i've heard seeing its a non-weight bearing bone it should be ok for him to play (Pending recovery from other issues and assessment of pain) But i am sure there are other medical opinions that may differ, so who knows aha
