  1. And there it is for us You have a Digital (Kayo) Membership set to rollover. As a return Digital Member, we have a special rollover price of $320 for you. This is only available to renewing members, the RRP will rise to $350 for any new purchasers.
  2. Seen quite a few comments online from various clubs, all seem to be complaining about rising costs with little return. Wonder what the solution is as we're stuck in a cost of living crisis.
  3. Thanks for this. I'm interested in attending my first AFL grand final, but 4am is a bit of a daunting! I do love me some Level 3 FGS seats though. I know both teams are technically "interstate" but have their origins here and do recall the MCC having decent number of Lions and Swans fans when we've played them recently.
  4. Look I agreed with you that Boyd has the advantage due to his age. I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on the fella - obviously some posters rate him highly on here, others a little less so - just stating TC has been in the AFL system etc If we went down the Boyd route, there's still a chance that in 2 years time he hasn't played a game at AFL level and by then he would be 28 years old. We'll know a lot more about Verrall in the next 12-18 months. Also think its important to note that Max signed a 3 year deal and as that progresses we'll look a better destination for some Rucks (that are a better age fit etc) who are already on AFL lists.
  5. I don't see the issue with a stop-gap option like this, would know he's an in case of emergency break glass type acquisition. Free addition, low salary. Don't think it would necessary hinder Verrall's growth, would help share the load. Would other clubs be into Boyd?
  6. Thank you! I live in Richmond so might duck in early for a seat and then go home and snooze, doesn’t help I’ve got a bucks party the day before tho aha
  7. It's my first year as a MCC Full member, was not a part of the GF ballot. Any idea what time someone would need to rock up to get a seat for a Sydney v Brisbane final?
  8. So we're going for Geelong this weekend then?
  9. It was pretty fun watching him try chase people though, small moments of joy
  10. AFL phantom draft has Langford #2, ESPN has him at #10. both lists are a fair bit different despite being released on the same day. No doubt we’ll grab a talented kid at #5 regardless who it is
  11. Also probably wants to avoid drunk dees fans querying him/having a go at him
  12. But it would ruin the nickname you're trying to push onto Tholstrup though
  13. Looked at an article from 25 March 2024 on the AFL website and it lists our potential out of contract/free agents as Tom McDonald Jake Melksham Adam Tomlinson^ Marty Hore* Joel Smith No mention of Hunter, when he joined us he had 2 years left on his WB contract. Imagine a player in that circumstance would be asking for an extra year to make the move worthwhile/secure as well.
  14. There are some reciprocal rights with Melbourne Racing Club where you can attend certain events at Caulfield. Maybe they want to boost that partnership a little? And also clear us out of the MCG.
  15. Correct, but still played out very strangely.
  16. Losing ANB a big loss for forward pressure. But Chin still very good with forward pressure. Tholstrup with another pre-season will only improve, he's shown he's happy to pressure/tackle. Petty was showing some good pressure/tackling towards end of season too. Hopefully Spargo has some built up aggression from his lost year too.
  17. Ah yes my bad - temporarily forgot.
  18. Ah yes my bad - temporarily forgot.
  19. Surely the AFL should just issue us an IOU Voucher
  20. Biggest issue is he didn't get to be the cherry on top in our cursed season. Might have a better opportunity next year but may struggle to get in the team.
  21. 6+4 is an outrageous deal, especially at a minnow/expansion club.
  22. Think most of us on here did. Glad he's going around again.
  23. Went last week and saw the best and worst of the Frost man. Wish him well this week. Wonder how he'll go next year once Barrass and Battle are in the squad
  24. Well this is frustrating, interesting he's in the program but not eligible. I am sure the club were aware of this.
