  1. Turn my phone off to avoid social media and the 142 posts from the bombers fans I have on social media.
  2. This is popping into multiple sports these days. Players seemingly have more comradery these days and have a joke after a game (apart from Mac Andrew aha), doesnt always sit well with older players or fans.
  3. Ankles are pesky beasts though. Speaking of old mate Tommo, think it was reported that collingwood are eyeing him up for the mid-season draft as a replacement for Reef McInnes
  4. a few "buyer bewares" on the lad - but expect him to turn his career around in Geelong, that's how it works isnt it?
  5. If you were collingwood would you rather Rowell or Petracca?
  6. roy11 replied to Dingo's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm not sure if Fullarton has the goods, but he's in form and is 200cm, worth a shot. Even if he's not clunking marks he has some extra reach to try bring ball down for smalls
  7. We only have 3 players over 200cm, Fullarton (200cm), Campbell (201cm) and Gawn (209cm) GCU currently have 6 players 200cm+ so hopefully Kalani sees more progression with us, but we need another giant in the short-term too.
  8. The Roar'Oh, yuck!' Young Dee goes on Handball Comp, has one of t...Harvey Langford's got some work to do on using his right hand!Young kid has something to work on, i'm sure he'll improve with his other hand.
  9. i think we're all a little chris from camberwell in 2025
  10. Given Oscar Allen likely on the way out at WCE, do you think its a risk dropping WA born JvR? I know he has a long term contract, but still concerned about having his head turned Still think a lot of this was injuries/suspension based, so wont judge him too much for this
  11. Whilst I agree it is puzzling, it's hard to fully understand/judge without knowledge of the soft cap and the wiggle room.
  12. I don't think its a long bow tbh, they took a calculated risk which didnt work out. I'd much rather we kept up with Jayden as opposed to the Hunter route. He'd probably be getting a game over Sharp if he was still here, still have some hope that Sharp can develop though.
  13. So here is a query for the demonland, Our Forwards seemingly do well in the VFL but struggle in the AFL. Is it primarily because of the gameplan/connection or do you think our list has a bunch of forwards who are too good for VFL but not quite hitting the high standards of the AFL?
  14. It’s a little hard to judge Spargo after one quarter, he didn’t really do anything, but then most of the team ghosted that 4th quarter
  15. not possible with his cooking videos
  16. Not sure we'll see too much of him when McVee/Kolt/X back. He's been serviceable but was a ghost last night
  17. Onya. Please report back, hopefully with a positive review
  18. Given they have 2 F/S picks and a NGA in the next draft, will curious to see how they approach their list/additions/departures this year.
  19. I know Stats don't tell the entire picture but his kicking efficiency so far this season is 59%, his career average is 56.2%. Will watch him with particular focus tonight.
  20. Clarry an interesting one, racked up 30+ disposals in the last 2 games without really imposing himself on the game. Hoping they both have blinders tonight
  21. Trac started brightly with 6 coaches votes in Round 1 but he is down on some career averages. I dont think Clarry has been that bad, collectively our midfield/gameplan struggles has made them look worse individually.
  22. Seems the robot did it's part but the humans did not perhaps
  23. They need something to talk about Step 1 - Nonsense Filler Step 2 - Weekend Games Step 3 - Fall out from Games Step 4 - Return to Step 1
  24. Tipping related - on the AFL website 2% of people have tipped Melbourne, assume all 2% are Melbourne supporters (myself included) Deelusional?
