  1. In-form Harmes is v useful but not not sure he's a walk up in 2023. The addition of Hunter has created a bit of a midfield stockpile. A good selection headache to have.
  2. Cheeky, reckon it only got a fine after it went a bit viral. Either way it shouldn't be the same fine as dacking a bloke
  3. Was seen as a versatile swingman who could play either end. Very happy with his progression, marking and physicality.

  5. Curious what changes they'll make to get Salem back in the team. Understand Judd will need a rest but he's doing all the right things, has great support staff to mentor him back there too
  6. There is the Grand Final Guarantee add-on that gives you the right to buy a ticket for the GF if your team makes it, but not sure if these are still available as I can't see them online anymore
  7. Happened in front of me and I said ‘oooh’ when it happened, definitely a sling action and looked like Day ate the turf, took a bit of time to get back on his feet etc based on what we’ve seen this season, the one match ban doesn’t surprise me
  8. Melbourne have only had five 100+ point wins in my lifetime and I only have recollection of the last 2. A very rare gift in my life. I will happily celebrate any win over hawthorn tho, whatever the Margin
  9. UEFA EUROPA Conference League. 90 minutes away from the final, would be nice to see the Hammers win a trophy, no sarcasm here.
  10. We’ve all lived through Melbourne being bad, don’t think any of us are bad losers aha. not sure what you thought was sarcastic though
  11. United were poor, but still had more possession and shots at goal than West Ham, nore sure about outplayed but definitely outfought. With West Ham relatively safe wonder if they'll rest some players in the hope for Conference League Glory.
  12. Booked Friday to Monday just to play it safe! Looking forward to the trip,
  13. Last year I wanted a Narrm Beanie, didnt buy online, wanted to buy at the game. But they weren't available at the game and i was sad with a cold head. Will be buying a Narrm beanie as soon as they're online to avoid any future disappointment or cold head
  14. Liverpool should finish 5th, so you'll have Europa League. Tottenham probably 7th? IF (big IF) United win the FA Cup, then 7th place gets a gig in the European Conference League This article covers some of the possibilities https://www.espn.com.au/football/english-premier-league/story/4921624/which-premier-league-clubs-will-qualify-for-the-champions-leagueeuropa-league-and-europa-conference-league
  15. Announced on my birthday, glorious present
  16. When you buy it from Melbourne they send you a code to use in the KAYO subscription setting area, so its not just for new customers. Only thing I learnt is If you're paying through apple (as opposed to direct CC) you need to cancel your subscription and then enter the code.
  17. You'd assume its only a matter of time, especially with question marks about the long-term futures of Harmes, Jordon and Dunstan (for various reasons), could be a depth player in 2024.
  18. writing was on the weeks ago, even though Arsenal were in front it was Man Citys title to lose more than Arsenals to win, and the Man City juggernaut just rolls on. Arsenal will continue to improve but this was probably their best shot to win the title as other clubs will have a resurgence next year.
  19. simultaneously, they also have the runs on the board to nail 3 first round picks. Tough one
  20. His physical presence for his size is a great attribute. Still remember his debut, thumped by the Swans but Kade had 9 tackles that game, equal most with Jack Viney. Obviously covid impacted his development but happy he's forced his way into the team and now finding goals after a few blanks in previous seasons.
  21. I get your point, just meant from a fan POV Monday/Thursday are difficult to attend at times but understand the media/ratings side of it.
  22. Can see them having a bye for one team a week and forcing more Monday/Thursday night footy on us.
  23. Premiership Demon to wait on career call Evergreen Demon Michael Hibberd won’t decide whether he will retire or play on next year until after Melbourne’s premiership bid ends. The 33-year-old played an integral defensive role in the Dees’ comeback win over Richmond on Anzac Day Eve, starting and finishing on Dustin Martin, while shutting down Noah Cumberland in between. Hibberd, who started his career with 84 games at Essendon, is 12 games short of reaching 200, with 17 matches, plus finals, for Melbourne to play this year. But his ongoing left achilles management – a problem that has plagued him for years – means he will have weeks off down the stretch. “I don’t think many people get to 33 unless they’re the genuine superstars these days, but I’ve just battled my way through, and I’ll keep battling away,” he told Money Talks. “I’ll wait until the end of the year to figure out what I want to do – whether I want to keep playing – and I’m sure the club will be in the same boat, but I’m just trying to enjoy every week at the moment. “I love playing in front of these crowds and for this team, so I’d love to do it forever, but you can’t beat the clock. We’ll wait and see.”
