  1. Wishing clarry all the best. Thought we’d get Turner and Laurie in. Little perplexed but go team
  2. Re; Butters Saw an article that said the doggies were sniffing at 1.5M a year and 2-3 first rounders. Geelong waiting in the wings depending on Rowell/Oliver situations. Saints seemingly putting eggs in TDK and Leek Aleer baskets.
  3. FEW DEFENDERS have been more reliable in defence this season than Tom McDonald. Anchoring the backline with his trademark grit and discipline, McDonald has stood out in key defensive stats this season—leading the competition in one percenters (55), a measure of the most selfless, team-first efforts on the ground. Digging deeper, McDonald ranks No.1 in the AFL for spoils (47), consistently getting a fist in to break up contests and shut down aerial threats. He’s also equal-first for contested defensive one-on-ones (24), winning the moments that matter most deep in defence. He’s climbed to 6th in the league for intercept possessions (53), highlighting his ability to read the play and turn defence into attack. It’s the type of form that doesn’t always make the highlight reel, but wins games. This season, McDonald moved into the top 10 on Melbourne’s all-time games list, surpassing Jeff White and further cementing his place in club history. His consistent output also has him closing in on a spot among the VFL/AFL’s all-time leaders for one percenters. It’s been a big year—and the numbers continue to prove it. Onya Tom
  4. Where does Key Forward even begin size wise, this lad is 3 cm taller than our medium forward Fritsch. Are we looking at a Fritsch (Out) Morris (In) situation? Don't know how i feel about this. One thing i can say with certainty is Morris does not have beautiful hair.
  5. I don’t think I’m in denial— agree he’s lost some of his dynamism and that was part of his greatest weapons in the modern game. Could well be carrying too much weight inclusive of muscle. Just think phrases like 'fat' or 'footballing equivalent of fat' could be better phrased given he's had some weight issues previously in his life.
  6. Yuck
  7. Lad is getting older, bodies change, leaner in the earlier photos, most likely but action shots not always the best, there are plenty of photos from 2021 that look different to the one you posted. Also we don't know what program the players are on, its a difficult balancing act at times, often read about players in sport putting on too much muscle and losing dynamic ability. On a side note I love albino alligators.
  8. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DFHlas1p_1R/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== If this is fat, i am in big trouble.
  9. Some football industry experience would have been a bonus but he seems a suitable candidate all things aside. But it's an interesting one, I know its a very different sport/industry. But Manchester United previously appointed a M&A banker as their CEO and he was absolutely cabbage.
  10. Some minor concerns he's not from a football background but he's obviously a talented businessman. Hopefully he steers us in the right direction and we start ticking off some items on the to-do list.
  11. Rising Star Nominations for MFC players in 2025 - 2 Rising Star Nominations for players playing against MFC in 2025 - 2 We have reached parity.
  12. I feel that whatever he does he'll have his knockers on here due to 1) His physical attributes 2) he's not super prolific as a goal scorer. I still believe he is a good cog to have in a well performing team - but the issue of recent times has been we are not a well oiled machine.
  13. I wonder what the case would have been if the player was concussed. That's seemingly saved him here? Saw lots of social media/former players defend TG. Assume Pickett's past form didn't help here. Still annoyed at that suspension, didnt help our poor start.
  14. I want Chuck Spargo in my team. Happy with Sharp/Henderson being subs/understudy as depth. I do imagine Culley will force his way into the picture sooner rather than later though
  15. I usually go to this game with my tigers supporting pal but he's a late out (non-curfew related) so i'll be there by myself. Both sides a little unpredictable so far this season, if we play like we did last week we should be fine. Hoping May is free of any injury shackles, keen for Fritta to explode with some goals as well.
  16. I know its a different kettle of fish so to speak, but I watch a lot of underage European football. I am very hit and miss on my 'this kid is going to be a star' statements. Either way it seems the AFL will tortoise there way on the issue and we'll miss out on him
  17. EventbriteMighty Dees Gawn, Oliver, Fritsch, Van Roo LIVE at Matthe...Dees Fans! You're invited to see Mighty Dees Gawn, Oliver, Fritsch, Van RooLIVE at Matthew Flinders Hotel, Chadstone!Anyone going to this, might get some current insight to Clarry
  18. Imagine if he started and got subbed out for the curfew, the app would be like Balta - Substituted (Curfew) haha
  19. I think it’s more defending the calls for him to be dropped, was reasonable .
  20. This round has made me angry we lost to north and Gold Coast
  21. Seen quite a few comments about Darcy. Big money for another 5 years. Heave ho fellas
  22. Needed to sub on Aaron vandenberg to deal with o’meara’s physicality on clarry
  23. Spargo, not the when quickest but was solid today. 19 disposals, 3 tackles in f50, 7 score involvements, 14 pressure acts etc, only knock on his game was his miss
  24. Tipped the dees, Had some hard solo, saw a dees win. What a day
  25. Was looking at the top 20 and then the next cabs off the rank, 13/28 are NGA/Academy/FS. Not the greatest year to acquire picks if any of the fellas (Pickett/Clarry/Petracca etc) leave.
