  1. was this not josh hope who got released by melbourne victory in the a-league?
  2. the trick is as far as we know it, the universe is endless in time and as it appears so is afl football so... why not trade out a future pick every single year and just forever be out by a year it works as long as the world keeps spinning (or they remove future pick trading ? )
  3. lmao nah i wish played school boys with them, they both signed my leavers shirt, so i guess thats always a brag i can have when they forget who i am ;)

  5. witherden regularly has 20+ disposals at 90%+ efficiency meanwhile lockhart has 2-5 disposals, vastly different players. he would have absolutely improved our side
  6. we should be able to resign them pretty comfortably knowing we have some players who have earnt decent coin in recent years OOC next year in jones (former captain), jetta (AA40 man), ANB (best 22), vanders (swans interest), KK. thats a pretty experienced list of probable exits that should make it pretty easy especially as we would have foreshadowed petracca and olivers rise in stature. still hope omac goes to free up another spot, would rather have 17 on the field than the porterhouse unfortunately
  7. eyes firmly on tippa, lipinski in a full dogs midfield and stack as potential early left field targets for next season. obviously jelly/whitfield and merrett are the big fish on our early radar
  8. that was 100% re: Tom, oscar is yet to receive contract offer that will come, if at all after list sizes formalised
  9. throw in hawkins and steven if he can crack the side
  10. probably and hopefully a good sign to those in charge that you're not going to progress too far up the ladder whilst u have players not a single other club is interested in on ur list, less so tmac obviously due to his coin but there'll be suitors for him this time next year
  11. u just said it yourself tho, the lions r paying a huge chunk so they coulda done the same for us. eyes on Cedric cox and narkle if they become delisted FA's
  12. wouldn't have minded going for atu if i knew he was going to be available too, imagine pickett, bedford, bosenavulagi now thats a mosquito fleet
  13. excellent miss this was, escaped one here i reckon. we've got enough medium sized forward problems of our own
  14. i see you've missed the name Corey Wagner, how could you!
  15. pies will have to get out at some stage but i rkn we will get the same number of 2nd/3rd rounders in trades next year and we'll just bundle and bundle and eventually get back in. mahoney got it on lock, he runs this ship
  16. when you see what phillips and witho went for you'd be spewin that u just gave hunt two years, and have ANB and AVB signed up
  17. reckon if we pluck the big pedo back out of the phillip island seniors he'd offer more than tmac next season
  18. he does these types of things well but i think we're lacking in the ability to properly read where our lists at and whats on the market woulda loved another addition or two get creative, dont settle
  19. request to change JMs job title to the professional pick swapper. i love what he's doing with this he's clearly one of very few who has their head fully around everything going on. if we get richo to actually assess the list and target needs and impress signees then we're gonna be laughing in the next few years
  20. it makes u wonder why we were so eager to recontract smith when now tmac is going to be around as swing depth particularly prior to the list number announcement too
  21. raise the bat lads, terrific innings. 100 pages of pure football nuffie waffle go dees
  22. would rather cedric cox at 22yo with more upside tbh.
  23. Ben Brown done a 1st round pick done or the draft picks in hand obviously outlining our intentions to secure one official word of APhillips trade or commitment as a DFA one of TPhillips, Narkle, CCox in a trade only then will i be satisfied ?
  24. we let the pencil jakey spence go too soon ?
  25. i think we will feel a lot more freedom next year - especially if we shed tmac this year. Jones, Jetta, KK, vanders, nibbler, smith, mbrown would all be looking less likely than not to be around in '22 and then u shed any of nieta, chandler, bedford, jordon, lockhart, hore that don't make the grade next year and suddenly we've got plenty of wriggle room
